As we continue our yearlong journey of kindness here at Shabby Art Boutique, I’m delighted to share the August installment of our A Year of Kindness project.
Each month we’ve been reflecting on uplifting words and simple reminders that encourage us to live with more compassion, thoughtfulness, and love in our everyday lives.
It’s been such a joy to see how many of you are using these postcards in your journals, happy mail, and as little notes of encouragement to share with friends and family.
For August, our message is a gentle yet powerful reminder:
“Kindness begins with me.”
It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, but this month’s quote encourages us to pause and remember that kindness often starts with the choices we make… how we speak, how we treat others, and even how we show compassion to ourselves.
A small act of kindness has the power to ripple outward in ways we may never fully see.
