Hippity… hoppity…Easter is on the way.
Do you decorate your home for the season?
Here at Shabby Art Boutique, I introduce a few decorative touches to my usual décor to herald the season.
The bunnies are one of my original designs and are cut from wood using a scroll saw and then painted with a few decorative paint finishes to get that distressed shabby look. I’ve used French graphics on mine, but you could use any graphic.
The French Bunny E-pattern is available from my Boutique.
I have a bit of a ‘thing’ for sweet little bunnies… I think it’s those cute little twitching noses and long ears. I have quite a few bunnies in the studio and a few of them always make it into other areas of the house for Easter.
These Tilda bunnies are of course gorgeous Tilda patterns. This pattern is from the Tilda Crafting Springtime book, available HERE
This decorative egg carton is one of my projects from a couple of years ago. You can get the instructions on this post.
In other places I’ve added a little something to fit the theme. This Tilda holds a vintage book paper egg and a pretty vintage tag, just for Easter.
And the nest and tag below are made with paper products from the Tilda Country Escape collection. It’s been tucked away in a box for awhile, so nice to get it out again.
