Hi creative friends,
This month in the Craft Room membership we stepped into a world of opulence and grace as we embark on a journey to the 18th century with my digital kit, Queen Marie.
This collection which brought the splendour of Marie Antoinette’s era to life, exudes shabby chic elegance and dramatic flair.
Marie Antoinette was renowned for her iconic style, and we paid homage to her fashion sensibilities with some fun projects this month.
There was a Queen Marie folio with 6 pages and numerous pockets and tuck spots that was provided as a video tutorial and printable file.
We had a fun paper shoe project with video and template and saw some amazing handcrafted shoes shared by members throughout the month.
Design Team member, Nicola from My Shabby Craft Corner shared an exclusive lace mirror tutorial in the Craft Room Facebook group.
It’s a stunning project that Marie herself would have been pleased to own.

The Latest Design Team Projects
Today I am sharing our final two stunning Queen Marie project from the Design Team.
Elisa ~ Elisa’s Creations
Elisa has created the most divine explosion box with the Queen Marie kit.
Explosion boxes are a great way to surprise someone specials with a box that expands to share memories, gifts or messages.
They can also hold a lot of ephemera, which is what Elisa has tucked into all of the mini pockets.
There’s just so many gorgeous elements to see in this project… and what a stunning way to showcase the grandeur of the Queen Marie digital collection.
We love this project Elisa ♥

Carolyn ~ Carolyn’s Paper Therapy
The opulence and over-the-top grandeur of 18th century France was a theme that took our Carolyn beyond her usual creative style, but she captured the essence of Marie Antoinette’s time so perfectly in her stunning Queen Marie journal.
Elegant Life Journal Topper
In her first video, Carolyn created a topper for the front journal cover with a side pocket.
The Elegant Life Journal – Part 1
The second video walked us through how to create and decorate envelope flip out pockets for the inside covers to hold journal cards, tags and ephemera.
The Elegant Life Journal (flip through)
In her third and final video for this project, Carolyn walked us through each page and all the elements she used to create this elegant ladies journal.
With all of her fabulous tips and suggestions, I’m sure you will have found Carolyn’s Elegant Life Journal very inspiring.
