Nicola ~ My Shabby Craft Corner
Marie Antoinette was renowned for her iconic style, and Nicola from our design team has paid homage to her fashion sensibilities with this absolutely fabulous stacked cake dress Marie.
Using the Queen Marie kit elements, textiles and delicate lace overlays, Nicola created a lavish dress from upturned paper mache boxes.
Flowers, rhinestones and pearls completed the look of sophistication that is definitely reminiscent of 18th century France.
Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of the 18th century, Nicola cleverly designed a French armoire to house her Queen Marie journal.
Watch her YouTube video to find out exactly how she created it.
Nicola’s stunning journal definitely evokes the romance and extravagance of Marie Antoinette’s world.
