When I was growing up, my mum’s favourite Mother’s Day gifts were always the ones that I made….
(because, let’s face it, our mothers are always our biggest fans!!)
It’s a tradition that has live on in our family and I still like to make my gifts and also receive handmade gifts from my children.
With this in mind, I thought I’d share a few of my quick and easy projects that are perfect for last minute handmade gifts for the creative mum.
2. Embroidery Floss Organisers
3. Vintage Lace and Ribbon Boards
4. Faux Patchwork Needle Keeper
I hope all the mums and moms enjoy their special day this Sunday!
Happy crafting,
♥

Lovely reminder to make your needle keeper for myself; I have the fabrics on the table and Sunday’s forecast is for rain.
I might just need some button cards to go with it.
Happy Mother’s Day to you, Kerryanne!
Thanks for sharing your creativity.

So pretty and ladylike. Thank you so much for button cards, lovely gift. Whenever I see there’s a post from you in my emails have to jump to it. Always love what your posts are about Kerryanne, you are so generous to share your talents with us. If have said that before is because I truly mean it.
Going to make button cards, mount them on some sturdy watercolor paper, at least that’s plan for now if I don’t get better idea. Might be too thick to sew buttons on. Hopefully will be making needle keepers also.
Have a special folder with all projects printed out from your site as have many, don’t want to lose them so keep folder by computer on bakers rack where printer is. That bakers rack has sure gotten good use, been used for few purposes since I bought it when we lived in Kentucky before Colorado and that’s been few years now.
Hope you have fantastic Mothers’ Day.
