Hi creative friends,
This week, our Design Team feature spotlights the incredible talent of Lauren Hord from Shabby Chic Sunday.
Lauren has taken us on a captivating journey with her latest projects, all inspired by the enchanting ‘Yours Affectionately’ December kit from the Craft Room membership.
The Story Unveiled:
Lauren’s artistic talent goes beyond mere crafting; she weaves a story into each creation.
In her latest endeavor, Lauren introduces us to the world of a Paris Modiste, a skilled dressmaker who caters to the needs of the elegant ladies reminiscent of Jane Austen’s novels.
The focal point of this narrative is the Dressmaker shop, a central element from the ‘Yours Affectionately’ kit that breathes life into her story.
Lauren brings her vision to life combining elements not only from the December kit but also integrating a few gems from three other Shabby Art Boutique kits.
This blending of resources shows how easy it is to mix and match between all of the Shabby Art Boutique kits, allowing for endless creative possibilities.
Lauren’s projects are nothing short of masterpieces.
Among her creations this month are a stunning journal, captivating waterfall envelopes, and innovative envelope journals.
A highlight of her work is a carefully crafted stack of envelopes containing letters that were written by Jane Austen for her sister… beautifully presented by Lauren in vintage style tea stained envelopes.
Each piece is a testament to Lauren’s attention to detail and her ability to transport us to a bygone era of elegance and refinement.
For an in-depth exploration of Lauren’s work, head over to her ‘Shabby Chic Sundae’ YouTube channel, where she has graciously shared a detailed video flip through.
Watch as each page turns, revealing the intricate details and the thoughtfully crafted narrative that ties it all together.
