You’d be forgiven for thinking I was MIA…. I’ve been absent from blogland for nearly 2 weeks and what a busy 2 weeks it has been.
Since my last post where I mentioned I was moving, I have received many emails and phone calls from concerned painting friends and customers. Let me reassure you right now, Woodberry Designs is NOT closing. Yes, we are relocating and it will be necessary to close again for a short period, but we already have plans to build a new studio and classroom in Port Macquarie. I hope that this will be quick and straight forward and that I can re-open later this year. The webstore will continue as in the past.
I know many people have been surprised by our decision to make the sea change to Port Macquarie…. but this is not something we just suddenly decided to do.
My extended family live there and it has always been our dream to move there one day. Following my lengthy period of poor health we decided that our ‘one day’ had finally arrived. Believe me, spending six months laying about in bed gives one plenty of time to reassess life choices and dreams.
I’m looking forward to swapping the busy pace of city life for the more sedate and relaxed lifestyle of a beautiful coastal town. Art and design will still be a major part of my life and I’m eager to establish a new teaching studio and continue on my creative journey.
So for the next few weeks I have lots of packing to keep me busy but first…. I’m off to visit all my friends in blog land. I’ve missed you all!!
Hugs ~ Kerryanne

Hey Kerryanne!! WOW!! So pleased for you that you’ve done the house selling and buying thing and can now start making plans for your exciting sea change! And you’ll be sooooo much closer so our play date may finally happen – YAY! :0) I don’t envy you the task of packing – I’m strugging with the aftermath of ONE room being rearranged!! – but I’m confident that there are lots of exciting new adventures in store for you, Mark, Princess Jess and Miss Aimee in Port Macquarie and I can’t wait to hear about them!! Bear Hugs! KRIS
Congratulations!!!

I am so happy for you Kerryanne that you and your family are making this dream a reality…and while I am sure there will be challenges along the way…you certainly have the courage to handle it all! I count you as a personal heroine of mine 😉 …and whenever I am feeling something is too big or too hard…you pop into my head and I know it can be done…and with grace too!
