Hello there my lovely. . . what a grand old dame you are!
You came to me all battered and dented. . .
but through the thick layer of aging dust
I glimpsed a gem.
I love your rusted buckles,
your cracked hinges,
and sundered catches.
If only you could speak. . . imagine the stories you could tell. . .
I wonder where your journeys have taken you
. . .and whose belongings you have held.
An outcast forgotten by time . . . you were prepared to finally slumber,
but a reprieve has come your way Old Dame
. . . there’s a new path for you to travel.
Nothing like a new and exciting re-purposing project to get the creative juices flowing!!

I have got one of these in my shed. I keep my christmas light in it and I always feel I should do something with it. Very curious what you are going to do with it.
