Thank you to everyone for your kind comments and support for the latest issue of Simply Shabbilicious magazine. I really do appreciate it!
It’s been a long time in the making… believe me when I tell you, it really was one of those projects that stopped and started over many months, but we got there in the end.
Earlier this year I was undecided if I’d continue with the magazine. I’m sure you can appreciate that it takes an incredible amount of work to arrange contributors, work with images and produce the layouts.
Publishing 4 issues a year meant each issue ran into another and sometimes I was working on two issues at once.
Add to that, I seem to have had my own time challenges this year that didn’t leave any spare time for such major projects.
So, I had a break and then with no fixed publishing dates we plodded along with our special edition ~ ‘A Creative Life’.
When I started this magazine back in 2013, it was intended as an inspiration for the lovers of shabby, vintage and cottage decorating. I wanted to showcase bloggers in that genre and build a community of like minded ‘friends’.
Like any big project, it takes many generous people working together to make it work…. and so it is with this magazine.
Each of the contributors that have appeared in Simply Shabbilicious over the past 3 years have given there time and images without payment, so that we can give you a FREE read online magazine.
Everyone of the contributors have been an absolute delight to work with and I’m incredibly grateful to them for allowing me to work with their images.
We greatly appreciate your support too!
Every time I think about stopping the magazine, I get beautiful unexpected messages of support and gratitude from the readers… they remind me of why I started this journey, so while I can still find willing contributors to participate, I’ll keep plodding along.
I hope you too will keep supporting these lovely ladies who so generously share their stories, art and homes with you.
If you are reading the free online issue of the magazine, you can simply pop over to visit any of the contributors by clicking on the magazine page. It will take you directly to their blog or website.
Maybe look around their blog for a bit…. see what other lovelies they have on their site. All bloggers love it when you leave them a short comment, so please don’t be shy.
Sincere thanks to Susan Darter at Raspberry Road Designs for allowing
me to work with her amazing graphics. Check out her shop HERE.
I’m back in the swing of it now and looking forward to completing the big Christmas issue… don’t you just know that Christmas will be here before we know it!

Your e-magazines are always a delight Kerryanne and I love to dip into the different blogs of the folks featured (for this issue that is something I have set aside to do this weekend as we have a bank holiday).
Thank you so much for putting this all together and I know the Christmas issue will be another treasure.

Yay, I’m happy you got your printed copy. Mine hasn’t arrived yet, but it has a long, long way to come. Nothing pleases me more than to hear that I have captured the true essence of your studio; that was definitely my aim and every studio space is as different as the individual artist. Thank you my friend for your kind words xxx
