Sometimes the loveliest new beginnings bring us right back to where we started.
Today is a rather special day for me, and one I’ve been looking forward to sharing with you for quite some time.
After many months of planning, designing and working quietly behind the scenes, I’m absolutely delighted to announce that The Boutique is officially open!
And there’s a lovely little story behind the name.
A Little Full-Circle Moment
When Shabby Art Boutique first began its online journey back in 2007, my original selling space was simply called The Boutique.
Over the years, my little creative business has grown, evolved and taken me on the most wonderful journey. There have been so many beautiful collections, creative adventures and friendships along the way.
As I began planning this next chapter, I found myself drawn back to those early days and the name that started it all.
And so, after all these years, The Boutique has come home. ♥
Creating from the Heart
The creative world has changed enormously since I first began sharing my artwork online.
As someone who has spent a lifetime creating art by hand, I’ll admit that navigating some of those changes hasn’t always been easy.
But one thing has never changed… my love for creating.
I still find the greatest joy in dreaming up new collections, painting pretty little details, choosing beautiful colour palettes and bringing a story to life through my artwork.
It’s what I’ve always loved doing, and it’s what continues to make my creative heart sing.
And while the world around us may be changing, I know there are still kindred spirits who appreciate the charm, individuality and personal touch of artwork created by hand.
To those of you who have continued to follow, encourage and support my creative journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your kindness and appreciation mean more than you could possibly know.
A Fresh Beginning for The Boutique
For the past four years, much of my creative energy has been devoted to designing exclusive collections and projects for my Craft Room membership.
It has been an incredibly rewarding chapter, and the Craft Room will continue to be a very special part of Shabby Art Boutique.
But I’ve also missed creating new digital collections and projects to share with my wider crafting community.
Bringing back The Boutique gives me the opportunity to do just that.
I’ve created a beautiful new shopping space here on the Shabby Art Boutique website, where you’ll find romantic digital collections, Print & Make projects, seasonal favourites and treasured designs from the Craft Room archives.
And I’m especially excited about what’s ahead.
I have so many ideas for new collections and creative projects in 2027, and I’m looking forward to spending more time doing what I love most… creating beautiful things to share with you.
Come and Explore
The doors are open, the shelves are filled with creative treasures, and there are already some very special new additions waiting to be discovered.
I hope you’ll enjoy exploring the new Boutique and that it feels like a familiar, welcoming little corner of Shabby Art Boutique.
