Sunday roses and happy days

Don’t you just love the feeling of unpacking a new décor item?

Maybe you’ve dreamed of what it will look like in your home…

There’s a little tingle of excitement as you unwrap it and place it in its new spot.

 

 

Then you move it around a few times to try it in a few other places.

Maybe you add different elements… roses, tea towels, bowls…

 

This was how I spent part of my Sunday, after picking up a new set of pink scales.

Aren’t they sweet!!

 

 

My friend Mary knew I was on the look out for either a set of new or vintage scales and was quick to let me know when she spotted some.

There was just one problem…

I couldn’t choose between the pink and the pale blue!!

 

 

Oopps, looks like both of them came home with me!!

Double the joy… wouldn’t you agree?

 

I’m such a blue girl, so I think this one is my favourite.

 

 

I can’t stop looking at them.
