This week, our talented Design Team have truly captured the breezy, coastal charm of The Summer House kit with an array of creative and inspiring projects.
Whether you’re a seasoned paper crafter or just looking for some summertime inspiration, these makes are sure to brighten your week!
Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren has absolutely wowed us with not one, but two delightful tutorials this week.
First up is her Adirondack Beach Chair, crafted using just four simple items from the Dollar Tree.
With its charming beach house aesthetic and layered fussy cuts from The Summer House kit, it’s the perfect piece of decor for a summer shelf or tiered tray.
Watch Lauren’s tutorial on YouTube.
Next, Lauren shows us how to make Translucent Tissue Paper Polaroids using elements from the kit… these dreamy little keepsakes turned out beautifully and will be featured in her upcoming summer journal.
Watch the Polaroid tutorial on Lauren’s YouTube channel here.
Lauren continues to impress us week after week with her creativity, attention to detail, and her generous teaching style.
Her tutorials are clear, inventive, and always sprinkled with shabby magic.
We are so lucky to have such an incredibly talented artist on our team!

Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Craft and More
Inspired by Lauren’s wreath project last week, Nicola created a nautical lifebuoy that radiates beachside beauty!
Wrapped in soft, sea-blue sparkly organza and adorned with layered fussy cuts from The Summer House kit, this elegant decor piece will add a touch of coastal whimsy to her summer home.
Nicola always brings a fresh eye and graceful creativity to our kits.
Her ability to reimagine inspiration in her own style is such a joy to see.

Agnieszka ~ LaLoggia
Agnieszka is the queen of upcycling, and this week she’s done it again!
After dinner, she saved a humble noodle box and turned it into a stunning decorative piece.
She covered it in papers from The Summer House and artfully layered it inside and out with fussy cuts from the kit.
Aga reminds us that with a little imagination, even the most ordinary items can become seasonal treasures. Her eye for transformation is such a gift!

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Even while holidaying in beautiful France, Sandra has managed to delight us with a truly adorable project… a miniature suitcase box on wheels, made from a miniature pizza box base and decorated with The Summer House kit.
This tiny suitcase features a faux zipper, the cutest pipe cleaner teddy charm, and opens to reveal one of Sandra’s signature handmade chunky charms inside.
Watch the flip-through video here.
Sandra’s work is always full of thoughtful little details and imaginative design.
We love how she blends elegance and whimsy in everything she creates!

Thank you for your gracious welcome to your lovely site. I can see that it is a place filled with beauty and wonderful ideas and I am going to enjoy visiting here. I dabble making journals special family and friend cards , and more crafts than I can name here over the years , collecting more paper ephemera and craft items than I will ever be able to use. I am an old lady and have crafted many types of projects my entire life, and still save ideas and fill my Pinterest board with ideas and things to print off and use in my crafts.
Have a nice day and take care .
