Hi creative friends,
This week saw the release of our new October kit for the Craft Room, Sugar Coated Christmas.
This sweet and festive kit brings Candy Cane Lane to life with gingerbread men, hot cocoa, candy canes, and so much more in a charming pink and red palette.
Our talented Design Team has been busy creating an amazing collection of Christmas crafting inspiration just for you!
Elisa ~ Elisa’s Creations
Elisa kicked off our creative inspiration in the Craft Room for the new kit with a project prompt and tutorial for creating her One Sheet Wonder Cookie Boxes using the Sugar Coated Christmas kit.
This is such a fun project for gifting cookies during the festive season, and Elisa’s clever design makes it easy to make and personalize with the sweet elements from the kit.

We’re all inspired to give this a try this month, Elisa. Thank you for creating and sharing such a fun project!

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren, along with the assistance of her dad, has created a simply stunning 3D Dollhouse and journal project.
Lauren is such a gifted storyteller and always seems to understand my vision for each kit so perfectly! She beautifully captures the story behind the art, and Sugar Coated Christmas is no exception.
Lauren and her dad crafted a delightful Gingerbread Bakery 3D dollhouse using the shop elements from the kit.
The outside of the shop is covered in glittering faux snow, and when you open the door, the inside of the shop is revealed.
Below the shop is another compartment that stores a mini recipe journal. It’s a recipe Advent calendar that holds 25 recipe cards to help you count down the days to the sweetest day of the year. It’s a magical project that’s both beautiful and practical.

Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts and More
Nicola brought her creativity to the forefront this week by upcycling a large thrifted dollhouse into a Candy Cane Lane Christmas Village Shops.
She used papers and elements from the kit to create 3D shelving units and display cases filled with sweet treats inside the shops.
For her second project, Nicola transformed an old timber sign into a charming Gingerbread Man Decorative Sign for Christmas using the papers from the kit.
These upcycled projects show how easy and affordable it can be to create fun, festive items using the kit’s papers and elements.
Nicola, thank you for inspiring us with your beautiful makeover crafts this week!

Agnieszka LaLoggia
Agnieszka also embraced upcycling this week with her stunning transformation of a timber cutting board into a Recipe Cutting Board.
She used the Sugar Coated Christmas kit to turn the board into a decorative piece that doubles as a recipe holder, complete with a pocket on the back.
Agnieszka’s project is not only gorgeous but also practical… a perfect handmade gift for anyone who loves to bake during the holidays.
Thank you, Aga, for inspiring us with this delightful handmade gift idea!
