Hello friends… it’s time for Shabbilicious Sunday again.
Each week in this series I share with you a visit to a home of one of our ‘shabbilicious’ friends.
This week is a little different… we are visiting several friends featured in my Simply Shabbilicious Christmas magazine.
You may remember that for several years I produced the Simply Shabbilicious magazine that was available to my readers as a ‘free read online’ magazine.
Last year my Christmas issue came out much later than I planned, due to some unforseen circumstances, so you may not have seen it.
It was a year in which I was so time poor and a magazine like this takes a huge amount of hours to produce. For that reason I decided to have a temporary break from editing the magazine in 2016… and I’ve totally missed it!!
Soooo…. today we are re-visiting the 2015 Christmas issue of Simply Shabbilicious. I hope you are inspired.
If you are ‘shabbilicious’ there will be something for you in this magazine, for it is filled with beautiful homes from Scandinavian to cottage, vintage and French inspired decor. There are even a couple of gorgeous creative projects.
The first tour is the Scandinavian home of one of my favourite blogging friends – Vibeke Svenningsen from Vibeke Designs.
I know you’ll be so inspired by all the Nordic beauty found amongst these pages.
Next it is on to visit Jamie of So Much Better With Age. Jamie has infused old with new to totally transform her home with a lovely neutral colour palette.
From there we scoot over to Germany to visit Dana Komm’s handmade cottage filled with lots of Tilda, GreenGate, Maileg and handmade whimsy.
If you are a little more vintage, you’ll swoon for Cindy’s amazing vintage inspired home with a French twist at Edith and Evelyn.
Plus, Cindy shared the beautiful story behind her business name and two very important women in her life, Edith & Evelyn.
Janet Collazo from the blog Rosemary and Thyme, well known for her fabulous tablescapes, shared some inspiration for transforming an everyday table into an impressive Christmas setting.
There’s a tutorial for making these impressive angel wings out of cardboard by Tanja Obergfall of Shabby Chic and I.
And Diana from Dreams Factory shared her secret for giving those handmade items the shabby look using paint and candle wax.

It’s going to be fun reading your magazine this pm, it’s cold and wet here in N.Z very wintery. I missed your last Christmas issue so this will be valued time spent reading it.

The magazine is beautiful; where can a person purchase the fabric elf? I went on line but could not fine a web site that would carry them. I would really like to have a few fabric elves . Thank you
Kerryanne says
Hi Linda, the pixies are pretty cute. They are made by Maileg.com 🙂
