I decided to show you all how to make a simple ribbon Christmas tree using
stuff around the house.

stuff around the house.

You can see here that I started with some old pieces of driftwood that I had collected, some skewers and ribbon from goodwill.
You can see from the picture I just drilled a small little hole in the driftwood that I would be placing my post in when I was done.
I pre folded some ribbon in enough length that it would give me the
size tree I wanted.
size tree I wanted.
The nice part about the skewer is that it is pointed on the top, so it pokes very easily right through the ribbon.
Once I got all the ribbon on I started reshaping the ribbon the way I wanted it.
I placed the skewer in the pre drilled hole and used some glue to hold it in place.
After it was set I used some pretty card stock to just freehand and cut some stars. I simply just glued them to the stick.

and using all things I had laying around the house I now have some adorable Christmas decor.
Again, thank you so much to Kerryanne for inviting me to visit here.
I hope you enjoyed this simple tutorial (I even had the idea of it being a good "SNOW DAY" project for the kids)
