Hi creative friends,
Welcome to my 12th Annual Simply Christmas event!
If this is your first time here, this is an 8 week event that I kick off on the 1st November each year.
When it started 12 years ago, I wanted to create a series of posts that centred around creating an old fashioned Christmas…. one that was aimed at putting the homemade and home baked back into the holidays.
Over the next 8 weeks I’ll be sharing lots of free crafting projects, printables, recipes, Christmas decorating and gift ideas to help you create your own homemade Christmas.
As is the annual tradition, the first Simply Christmas project each year is a free printable Christmas Planner.
Getting organised for Christmas isn’t difficult… a little forward planning and making an early start is all that is needed to pace yourself for a stress free Christmas.
2021 Printable Christmas Planner
This year I have created a simple trifold folio that is the perfect size to slip into your handbag.
The folio measures 5″ x 7″ with lift out pages measuring 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″.
I’ve provided an instructional PDF with a step-by-step photo tutorial of how I made my folio, along with printable papers and pockets to make the folio.
The planner pages include calendars and weekly planners for November and December.
There are many list pages…. including wish lists, card and email lists and gift lists.
Plus, a menu card, grocery list, shopping lists and pages for notes.
There’s certainly plenty of room in the pockets to slip in extras like recipes as well.
On my folio I created a handy pocket on the back cover to hold receipts or notes.
I like to keep everything together in one place…. especially the gift receipts!
Of course, you may use the planner any way you like….
I added some additional fussy cuts to my folio using a few of the elements from the October Handmade Club kit – no longer available.
I also added a few sequins dotted around, but held back on glitter and laces this time.
My planner will be in and out of my bag over the next few weeks and needs to be practical.
How to Download the 2021 Christmas Planner
This year, as a safety measure I have added the Christmas Planner to my newsletter subscribers free printable library…. this is a safe place to store it and download it.
So, the free printable Christmas Planner file is ready to download now in the Newsletter Subscribers Printable Library – the password to this page is on the bottom of your latest newsletter.
