Welcome to the 5th annual
Simply Christmas
I’m delighted to have you here participating in this fun event.
If you are new to Simply Christmas, this is the 5th year I’ve shared my vision of ‘putting the homemade and home baked back into Christmas’.
Sometimes the true meaning of Christmas gets lost in all the commercialism…. and trying to do too much makes the season stressful.
Simply Christmas demonstrates how to take back the holidays with an easy to follow blue print for adding a homemade touch to everything we do. This event takes you from planning and preparation in November through to Santa’s Supper on Christmas Eve. . . so that the days leading up to Christmas are relaxed and enjoyable.
Activities include fun family orientated projects, tutorials and how-to’s, yummy recipes, gifts, free downloads and guest posts. . . plus a weekly (Friday)Christmas link party too.
If you’d like to help spread the word, here’s a button for your side-bar. I’d be thrilled if you could let your friends know… so more people can join in. (Copy and paste the code in the box to your sidebar)
Traditionally, we kick of Simply Christmas with a Christmas ‘holiday’ planner.
This year I have two options for this popular vintage planner.
Firstly, I have designed a new free downloadable planner you can print out to use for making your own planner.
This is a completely new download, which combines gorgeous Victorian graphics with the practicality of a holiday planner. Download HERE
Planner pages include: calendars; daily/weekly event sheets; wish lists; card, email and gift lists; shopping and note lists; menu planning and grocery lists.
Below is an example of how I’ve made my planner up in previous years using an A5 art diary as the base and adhering my printed pages into the book…. along with lots of pretty embellishments.
This year I’m doing something a little different for myself…
I’ve used my vintage planner pages… plus a few extra ones I designed and had them made into a printed booklet. It is small enough to fit in my handbag, but big enough to include all the details I need to keep Christmas organized.
This booklet is available for you to purchase too!
The 2014 Vintage Christmas Planner has 48 pages, measures 5.25” x 8.25” and costs $9.95, plus postage (from US).

Hi Kerryanne. I wanted to add your button to my blog but just realised I no longer have a navigation bar. I was wondering if maybe I needed to update or something, but have no clue. Any suggestons?
Glenise says
Absolutely Love your Christmas Planner, It has given me the passion for crafting once again. I look forward to seeing what other projects you have on offer.

This Christmas planner is so perfect, if I hadn’t already started printing out all pages I’d have bought one in booklet form. Such a wonderful idea and so convenient for taking along. Might still have to buy one for daughter and I’ll keep one I printed out. She works so would be much handier for her. So smart of you to have booklet made we could order, sure appreciate that option. I probably used up $5 of ink printing it out, with cost of ink cartridges these days. Can almost buy a printer for what ink costs.
Want to thank you so much for making this available to us to print out, that is a huge gift I think, so thanks for sharing your wonderful talents and time with all of us. Happy holidays Kerryanne to you and yours..

Morning, from dull & dismal UK! But the winter sunshine has just peeked through in the form of my postman’s delivery of your glorious 2014 Christmas Planner! I ordered this straight away on at the launch on 1st November and it arrived today via Blurb – I usually print out most of your wonderful downloads but lately we’d switched to a basic mono.printer that just wouldn’t have done it justice. I’ve never left a comment or posted before but really wanted to congratulate you on exceptional service. Thanks so much and keep on bloggin’
Kerryanne says
I’m so glad you popped in to say hello and leave a comment Delve. I’m also very happy to hear that you not only love your Holiday Planner, but that it also arrived in ample time to be planning your Christmas.
I hope you have a fabulous festive season and thank you for following along at Shabby Art Boutique. 🙂

Hi Kerryanne, I am new to your beautiful website – am planning Christmas for once in my life! Do you have any invitations anywhere here? Christmas ones would be great but anything to give me ideas would be lovely. Having a small (10) dinner party pre Christmas and “theming” it. Thanks heaps and no worries if not, Lynn
Kerryanne says
Welcome Lynn. I’ve had lots of Christmas things over the years, but never an invitation…. sorry 🙁
Teresa Leibman says
Are you going to offer this in2016₩
Kerryanne says
I haven’t planned my Simply Christmas for 2016 yet Teresa, but I usually offer something vintage. 🙂
