Each week in this series I share with you a visit to a home of one of our ‘shabbilicious’ friends…. I hope you are enjoying this series as much as I am.
There is so much inspiration around at Christmas, so rather than visiting just one home, I’m currently gathering several each week.

The history of Christmas trees dates back hundreds of years. Traditionally they were decorated with edibles such as apples, nuts, or other foods and illuminated with candles.
Skip a head a couple of hundred years… and Christmas trees now come in a myriad of colours and sizes, fresh and artificial… and layered with fairy lights, tinsel, garlands and all kinds of baubles and ornaments.
Decorating a Christmas tree has become an art form.
Today I’ve picked out a few of these fabulous trees for you to admire, enjoy and PIN for later on.
How sweet is Crystal’s gold and silver winter wonderland tree
at A Pumpkin and a Princess.
Over at Design Dazzle, Toni gives her Christmas tree a name each year… this one is ‘Mrs Claus Cottage Christmas Tree’.
I especially love that hand painted buffalo check ribbon!
Bre added slate blue to her neutral colour palette this year and boy am I loving all the texture on her tree.
Can’t wait to see her full home tour later this week at Rooms For Rent.
Meegan had this fabulously whimsical ‘feathers and teacup’ Christmas tree last year at What Meegan Makes. Just another use for all our beautiful teacups!
Michael at Inspired by Charm has decorated 8 different Christmas trees in the past 3 years, so there is a plethora of inspiration and gorgeousness on his reflective Christmas tree post this week.
This rainbow tree is still my favourite!
If vintage is more your thing, Jennifer from Town and Country Living has created this gorgeous vintage tree.
I’m swooning for Sandy’s beautiful Victorian tree at
My Shabby Streamside Studio.
And… if you’ve ever wanted a flocked Christmas tree, Jamie has two new flocked trees this year that she reviewed at So Much Better With Age.
Personally, I love the ambiance a lit Christmas tree adds to your home during the Christmas season. We have 3 fully decorated trees this year; one in the main living area, another in our upstairs foyer and one in my craft room. There are several other small trees in pots in various spots around our home… I’ll be sharing these next week.

So much creativity all in one place, how lovely for us all. There is so much I love about each and every tree. Can only imagine how much time, talent and creativity it took each tree creator to complete their tree, sigh.
Am so glad to be back on your email list, don’t want to miss a post, especially now.
It took me all day to arrange/ make vignettes in living room with what had purchased at $tree and little bit at Michaels along with items already in residence. So many decision, but fun to anticipate. . Still have paper ornaments to finish up to hang on 1/2 wall between kitchen/l/r. My house needs cleaning but must get decorating finished.
Love this party, seeing what everybody has been doing is so fun, inspired galore.
