I have been given the great honour of being placed in the Spotlight at
Each Saturday two fabulous bloggers, Kris from Junk Chic Cottage and Susan from Must Love Junk run an unique event to ‘spotlight the real life behind the blogger’…
And this week it is my turn to tell you all a little more about my ‘real life’.
To be honest with you, I found this a little confronting and wrote and re-wrote my post many times.
In the end, I just told it how it really was… because my journey got me to where I am today and I whole heartedly believe that everything in our lives, good and bad, happens for a reason.
If you’d like to know more about the real life behind this blogger…
Pop on over and visit Kris at Junk Chic Cottage.
And I thought you were an amazing woman BEFORE I knew how much you had gone through! What an inspiring story. You never know what events will transpire to bring you to the things in life that give you the most satisfaction. Yours were certainly trying ones but you have triumphed!!
I’m so glad to know you.

Aww… thanks Anne. I feel blessed to know you too.
Life does have some strange twists and turns at time, but that’s what shapes our journey. It makes us stronger and more resilient and hopefully makes us a better person as well.
I’m very grateful to have such gorgeous blogging friends.
Hugs,
Kerryanne xx
Kerryanne,
I loved having you in our spotlight. Your inspiring story and the courage you showed to get you to the place you are now is so amazing. I loved you before but now I love you more with learning more about you. Thank you dear friend for sharing your beautiful family and story with all of us.
Kris
I think it should be me thanking you Kris. You offered me something that took me out of my comfort zone and while it felt kind of weird talking about myself like that, I think it allowed me to express a little more of the ‘real me’. Thank you for honouring me with a spotlight in your series.
Hugs,
Kerryanne xxx
Good Morning Kerryanne, I just read the article about your life, and what you’ve gone through to get where you are today. Really enjoyed learning more about you. Your family is lovely, where you live is fabulous, oh, to live near the ocean again. And have I told you lately how much I love your magazine? I don’t know how you do it all. Have a great weekend.
Jeannie
Thank you for your sweet comments Jeannie. I’m glad you liked my magazine too 🙂
Wow, Kerryanne! You do have a story to tell and I’m so glad everything has worked out in the end and you have recovered from your injury and get back to living life. It was nice to get to know a little bit about yourself and I’m so glad I met you through blogland.
When can we come visit your lovely resort…really. My huisband spent a year in New Zealand when he was in college and he has always told me I would love that area(warm, sunny skies), so maybe someday:-)
xoxo
Kathleen
Let me know when Kathleen and I’ll put you in my best room 🙂
We are blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world… I think you would love it!! It’s such a pity that there is such a big void of water between the US and Australia, it puts many people off. I’ve done the trip over to the US and it is a long haul.
Hope to see you visit one day xxx
You shine brightly in the spotlight, Kerryanne. xo
Aww Mary… you always spoil me with compliments ♥
Kerryanne, I had no idea of all the struggles you’ve been through! I really admire your hard work and determination! Thanks for sharing with us 🙂

Thank you Susan. I feel uncomfortable talking about myself, so rarely share anything too personal on my blog. Your series definitely took me out of my comfort zone, but I’m glad I did it. 🙂
