Whoever said you can’t buy happiness forgot little puppies.
Specifically… 1.5 kg of black woolly cuddles.
This is Milly, the newest member of our family.
Standing just 22 cm high, this tiny toy poodle pup has turned our world upside down… literally!!
I think ‘SMITTEN’ would adequately describe the emotion in our home right now.
Let’s not dwell on the destruction zone Miss Milly leaves in her path. After all, over turned rubbish bins, ripped up carpet and gnawed antique furniture can all be overcome with puppy kisses.
Needless to say, not a lot of work has been accomplished this week… but work can wait, there’s puppy cuddles to be had.
I can honestly say it’s been a ‘DOG’ of a week. I’ve divided my time between looking after Milly and caring for my favourite furry child and studio buddy, Gypsy. My poor old girl had to undergo surgery on Tuesday for a nasty looking tumour that suddenly came up on her ear. The pathologies are back and even though it is a very rare growth, it thankfully turned out to be benign. While Gypsy was feeling so poorly I kept some distance between the dogs, but I think some bonding time will be in order this weekend. Hopefully they will love each other as much as we love them.
Oh my goodness, how cute is she? We had a black toy poodle when I was little and he was called “Happy Chappy”. A little ball of fun, he was so I can imagine the fun you have been having this week!
Ohhhh…Miss Milly is soooo cute. How could you not love a gorgeous little bundle like that?Bet the girls adore her too!!!
OMG she is gorgeous Kerryanne. It must be the week for new puppies cause my neighbour just bought hers in to show me last night and I had a turn at babysitting today. So cute, so cuddly, and so mischievous.
Hope Gypsy feels better soon so they can play together.

What a lucky little puppy to have found such a loving home!
Speaking of Loving Homes, I’ve just realised I missed out on Guss turning “6”..I feel so bad, it was the 14th September, should I do a belated birthday celebration for him?
Nothing wrong with us!! LOL
OOHHH….I forgot to mention Gypsy…
SOO glad the tumour was benign..
Precious gorgeous girl she is as well..(give her my apologies for ignoring her in my last post)..
I am feeling very guilty just focusing on poodles!!~~

Kerryanne, Milly is gorgeous. She must be the centre of attention in the household.
Enjoy your bundle of fun!
Get well Gypsy!!!
There’s a little Milly to welcome and teach how to be a good little puppy 🙂
boy oh boy that is one cute pup!! a friend of ours has a black toy poodle (or blue as they are caled it think)called ebony and she is the sweetest and smartest thing. she hardly ever barks and is perfect for asthmatics as she sheds no hair.
hope gypsy is feeling better and back to normal (whatever that may be)
xxrosey
I remember when our old girl genevieve moved in with us all those years ago she chewed up a brand new pair of my work shoes. Shes paid us back ten fold over the years with love and companionship so you can forgive them these early puppy misbehaves!

Hey Kerryanne! Hmmm … I forsee lots of puddles, lots of ‘oops!’ and lots of holes in your garden … offset my lots of doggie smooches and snuggles! :0) I’m sure Miss Milly will add a special something to your household … even if it’s only chaos! Tee! Hee! Hee! And ‘get well’ wishes to your studio buddy – hope Gypsy is back to her usual self soon. Bear Hugs! KRIS
oh she is so adorable..you can forgive the puppy chewing ! How did your other dog take to her? I am thinking would love a pup (just what we need in a small yard lol) but wonder what Miss Bailey would make of her? Puppy hugs, aww love them. Mel xx
Oh darling, Miss Milly is the cutest little thing! But pups are little tearaways aren’t they? It’s almost like having a toddler in the house again. Please give Gypsy (also the ‘cutest little thing’) some cuddles from Auntie Vik… bless her!
Hugs to you too sweetie…
Vikki xoxoxo 🙂
Hi Kerryanne,
What an adorable puppy, i get what you mean about the trail of destruction. We have an 8 month old blue heeler/ border collie x and she is in the process of re landscaping the backyard. Just one look at their gorgeous little faces and all is forgiven though. I hope Gypsy loves her new little friend.
Karen
Hi Kerryanne,
I’m sooo glad to hear Gypsy’s lump was benign. Phew!
Milly is just gorgeous and Aimee has her own special friend now.
How sweet for you all!
Hugs,
Anna
Oh, how sweet! I love poodles, we’ve had two. They are so smart and so loving. Millie is just precious. Enjoy her. Have a great week! Twyla
What a sweetie! Congrats! Hope Gypsy is better.

Oh dear Kerryanne, she is very sweet and if we do manage to come and visit you, DH and children will be occupied for quite some time with your new little bundle. They are so in love with fur babies it is not funny.
Funny also our puppy ( who is now 1) is called Tilly…our lives seem to be so similar….

Aren’t dogs wonderful. I have 4 little doogie children, one of whom is a tiny little white poodle called Matilda. She weighs less than 3 kilos and yet is so full of life and personality.
I particularly love beautiful old dogs with their grey muzzles and caring eyes.
I’m so glad your dogs belong to someone as kind as you.
