Hi creative friends,
This week, I am excited to showcase the creative talents of our amazing Design Team members: Sandra, Lauren, Nicola, Elisa, and Angelique.
From inspiring prompts to stunning tutorials and heartfelt farewells, each project highlights the incredible artistry and passion that makes our Craft Room community so special.
Yesterday in the Craft Room, we kicked off the New Year with our first kit for 2025: Postcards from Paris.
Step into the romance of early 1900s Paris with this dreamy love and Valentine’s digital collection that celebrates three enchanting themes: Love, the Patisserie, and the City of Light.
Postcards from Paris Kit
Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Each month, one of our Design Team members sets a prompt with the kit to inspire and encourage our members.
This month, Sandra has chosen the prompt ‘A Bouquet of Flowers’ for the Postcards from Paris kit.
She has already shared these gorgeous examples with the membership, and on Saturday, January 4th, she’ll be sharing a tutorial on her Atelier Vintage Rose YouTube channel.
Be sure to stop by and check it out!
We all adore your flower bouquets, Sandra… thank you for inspiring us with your creativity and vision.

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren’s first project with the Postcards from Paris kit is a sweet lacy envelope book….
And she has shared a quick and easy-to-follow video tutorial for it on her YouTube channel.
This fabulous no-sew method uses envelopes printed on 65lb paper, making it simple to assemble and perfect for beginner paper crafters.
Thank you, Lauren, for sharing such a delightful project and for making it accessible to all skill levels. Your creativity is truly inspiring!

Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts and More
Nicola was quick to share her first project: an elegant and feminine hat box covered in Parisian kit papers and adorned with pretty silk roses.
Nicola drew her inspiration from a hat box graphic in the kit elements.
Not only is this hat box a stunning décor item, but it’s also functional.
Thank you, Nicola, for this exquisite creation and for always bringing such elegance to your projects. Your work never fails to amaze us!

Elisa, we’ve loved every one of your gorgeous Whimsy & Roses planners and calendars.

Angelique ~ Ang’s Scrap Creations
It is with great sadness that we share Ang’s last project for the Design Team.
Ang has recently undergone arm surgery and will be having more surgery in January.
She has decided to focus on her recovery in 2025, so she is stepping down from the team.
We’ve loved having Ang’s beautiful projects and detailed tutorials to drool over…. who doesn’t enjoy listening to her speak French?
Ang’s project with the Whimsy & Roses kit is a decadent lacy journal…
A true “chunky monkey” full of lace-edged papers, pockets, and tuck spots brimming with pretty embellishments.
You can watch Ang’s detailed flip through on her YouTube channel or click below.
Ang, thank you for sharing your artistry with us.
We wish you all the best with your upcoming surgery and recovery.
You’ll always be part of our Craft Room family, and we can’t wait to see your creations again when the time is right.
