Hello ‘shabbilicious’ friends,
Today I’m sharing this quick, easy and totally shabbilicious’ Easter gift wrapping. . .
Made from a supermarket egg carton.
So not only is it cheap, it is also recycling!
So not only is it cheap, it is also recycling!
How I made mine:
1. I gave mine a quick coat of white Gesso to seal the cardboard egg carton.
2. Next I gathered some pretty supplies. . . I used a free vintage Easter download image for both the top and inside of egg carton lid. There are many free vintage images available online.
3. A coat of paint in antique white (top) and pale pink (bottom) was used before adding a pretty polka dot paper to the top of the lid.
Next came the beautiful embellishments. . . some lace, paper doilies, crinkly pink ribbon, paper flowers, buttons and bling.
And so it became a pretty gift box ready to be filled with Easter goodness!
