Hello everyone . . . I’m finally out of the hammock!! In fact, I got out a couple of days ago and promptly dashed off to the ‘big smoke’ for some REAL shopping. Yes my friends. . . one of the pitfalls of living in a coastal paradise is the lack of real shopping, so off we all went for some retail therapy.
Now that I’ve had my R&R and shopping expedition, I’m ‘hot to trot’ to jump right into 2012 – what about you?
For my first project of the year I’m sharing something special with you. . . . a little something I use to plan out and organise my year of creativity and blogging. Organising creativity. . . now there’s a strange concept. Creative, innovative and imaginative people often organise in a different way. . . we prefer things to be more informal. . . colourful and fun and out on a desk where we can see it. . . none of this hiding it away for us!! As creative people we are quite visual, so I’ve designed a year planner with a creative twist.
I am excited to announce my latest self-paced online workshop
The 2012 Creativity Planner
. . . designed especially for creative people.
(special price of just $15)
Actually this is not a new concept for me. . . I create one of these planners every year. This is how I organise my studio, plan my creative events diary and my blogging schedule. It’s my place to set my creative goals, make wish lists, store ideas and plan my projects.
This is not like a store bought diary or planner. . . no, no, no. I’ve designed the planner with 40 hand drawn whimsical pages. The pages are printed on A4 paper, so easily slip into clear sheet protectors and then get stored in a binder. How you decorate the binder is completely up to you.
So here’s the fun part. . .
I’ve designed a quick online workshop. . . just 8 lessons that you can work through at your own pace. The lesson plan guides you through the process of putting your planner together. I’m there to answer any questions and give you advice on how I stay organized for my creative business and my blogging schedule. . . but you don’t have to be in business to reap the rewards of this type of planner. . . it’s for anyone who is regularly creative and wants to customize an innovative planner that inspires their imagination.
The Planner templates include:
· Planning pages with a calendar and daily and monthly action plans.
· There’s a place to store all the contact details for creative businesses and friends.
· There’s a goal chart to stimulate your creativity
· Wish list projects and completed project pages
· Material wish list and shopping lists
· Pages to record your internet shopping orders, fabric swatches and paint samples.
· A place to store warranties and receipts for creative supplies and tools.
· The final section deals with planning and scheduling blog posts which includes a blogging calendar, plus there is also a template to document blog swaps.
The workshop is designed to produce a planner that is customized to suit your individual creative needs. . . no matter what crafting pursuit you enjoy. When you enrol in my 2012 Creativity Planner Workshop you’ll receive access to a private blog where you can work through the lesson plans at your own pace, plus download all of the beautiful planner pages. If you’d prefer to just download the planner and set off on your own creative journey without the workshop, you are free to do so – it’s up to you.
The 2012 Creative Planner Workshop will remain open for enrolments all year, but January is the perfect time to get organized for the creative year ahead.
So here’s the best part. . .
I’m offering the 2012 Creativity Planner workshop for just. . . $15
If you’d like to join in this fun and innovative workshop and make your own Creative Planner,

Thanks so much Kerryanne! This is a great idea but my life is unpredictable so I don’t plan for much. I do want to thank you again though for the great 2011 Christmas Planner for the season that helped greatly with everything I had to do! I used it each and every day. It is now packed away with my Christmas decorations so I can save it to look at next Christmas!! Happy New Year to you!! 🙂
