As most of you know, we are saying goodbye to Google Reader today, so if you haven’t already changed your blog following options. . . the time has come!
Some people have been a little confused and mislead by this, so here’s an explanation of what is happening. . . Many of us have been using the Google Reader platform to read and keep all the blogs we follow in one place. Google have decided to retire this platform on July 1st (today), so we need to find an alternative feed-reading solution.
If you want to retain your Reader data, including subscriptions, you can easily swap it to another feed-reader. I swapped mine to Bloglovin.

I signed up with Bloglovin a while ago and it was very easy. My only gripe is that the reader bit comes as an email rather than part of my blog dashboard…oh!, and I can’t workout how to attach a pic so I just appear as one of the grey faceless folk LOL
It was very easy but I did notice that some of the blogs I follow didn’t copy across so folk might want to just check (I printed a copy of my reader list from my blog so I could go through it).
My biggest panic was that I would lose all the links I had to fabulous folk like yourself.
