It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…….well it certainly is in my studio.
I’m still baking my faux cakes and Christmas cakes are plentiful. This year I have made faux Christmas puddings in 3 sizes and individual fruit cakes that are iced or sugar dusted. They look yummy and make me crave for my mum’s rum coated Christmas fruit cake…..she must be thinking about making it soon.

The cakes may be keeping me super busy but not a day goes by that I don’t paint at some point. Below is a little Gingerbread box I have painted for my Christmas Collection. The roof comes off so you can store all your Christmas candy inside. The snow and candy aredusted with glitter but it doesn’t really show up in the photo.
Oh dear, they look wonderful, good enough to eat!! And that is saying something because I don’t like fruit cake, puddings etc, it is the orange peel that really does me in bleah!! I have been making little felt cakes and puddings, I will show you later in the week and I keep telling myself they look like little chocolate puddings!! The gingerbread house is gorgeous!! I wonder how long it would take before the children found the lolly stash in there..maybe one minute, maybe two? Have a wonderful evening, KN Linda Lilly Cottage.
How absolutely lovely, I’m a christmas freak too. I’ve just made an order for your lovely little puddings and christmas cakes and now I’m going to go and have a look for the gingerbread house, sooooo cute.
Have a great night
