Hi creative friends,
It’s been a wonderfully busy and inspiring week in the Craft Room as we welcomed our brand-new January Craft Room kit … Hedgerow Hollow
This collection has already captured so many hearts with its whimsical hedgerow setting, storybook charm, and the sweetest little woodland details.
If the flurry of Design Team creativity this week is anything to go by, Hedgerow Hollow is going to be a much-loved favourite.
Here’s a sneak peek…
If you’re new here and discovering Shabby Art Boutique for the first time, Hedgerow Hollow is a Craft Room membership kit.
The Craft Room doors will be opening again in May, and if you’d love to join us, you’re very welcome to add your name to the waitlist… or pop across to the Craft Room information page.
Now let’s take a look at the beautiful projects our Design Team has been sharing this week…
Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola absolutely wowed us with her incredible 3D diorama, bringing the little shops beneath the hedgerow to life in the most magical way.
Her attention to detail is outstanding, and she captured both Hedley’s Bookshop and Seraphina’s Cottage Nook perfectly.

Nicola truly has a gift for 3D box constructions, and it’s always a joy to see her ideas take shape.
Alongside the diorama, Nicola also shared a beautiful hedgerow journal featuring two signatures filled with papers and fussy cuts from the collection.

With plenty of room for journaling, tucked-away ephemera, and the sweetest floral tuck spots hiding tiny woodland critters, this journal feels like stepping right into the story of Hedgerow Hollow.
Nicola has included a page-by-page flip-through video showing both the diorama and the journal in detail… it’s a real treat to watch.

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra created the cutest cottage-style box inspired by Seraphina’s home, and it couldn’t be more perfect.

Sized just right to store her handmade cards, the box houses cards she created using the Hedgerow Hollow story cards included in the kit.
As always, Sandra’s work is beautifully finished, thoughtful, and full of charm.
Her projects never fail to inspire, and this one is no exception… it’s both practical and absolutely delightful.
Sandra has shared a video flip-through so you can see all the lovely details up close.

Agnieszka LaLoggia
Agnieszka very kindly provided our January Craft Room prompt, showing members how to create a trifold folio using just two envelopes along with the papers and fussy cuts from the Hedgerow Hollow kit.
Designed to slip neatly into a planner, it’s a clever, practical project that looks absolutely gorgeous… and it’s wonderfully easy to make.

Aga also treated us to one of her signature upcycling projects, transforming a simple photo frame by replacing the artwork with a pretty backing paper and a single sweet hedgehog fussy cut.

It’s such a lovely reminder of how small, thoughtful details can create beautiful décor pieces at almost no cost.
We adore Aga’s creative eye and her inspiring approach to upcycling… she always encourages us to look at everyday items with fresh possibilities.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Caroline shared an absolutely charming Stationery Box Gift Set consisting of five projects, all stored inside a beautifully decorated wooden box.
She began by removing the hardware, gessoing the box, and covering it with floral papers from the kit, finishing the lid with a lovely Hedgerow Hollow-themed design.

Inside, Caroline included a pocket filled with sweet hedgerow tags and pretty notebooks, and she went a step further by printing the kit’s papers onto fabric.
The result? The cutest tissue holder and a darling little purse, both perfect for gifting.
This is such a thoughtful, creative project, and Caroline has shared a short flip-through video so you can see every detail.
