Hi creative friends,
It’s been a wonderfully busy and inspiring week here at Shabby Art Boutique, with our Design Team coming together for a very special collaboration.
This week, the team participated in the Haberdashery YouTube Hop, a lovely partnership between Shabby Art Boutique and Jaizella from Lavish Laces.
Each of the ladies received beautiful parcels filled with laces, trims, and textiles from Lavish Laces, which they combined with my new Etsy kit, The Vintage Haberdashery, to create the most exquisite handmade projects.
It has been such a joy to see their creativity shine in this collaboration.
Nicola – Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola created the most gorgeous lace needle book, thoughtfully filled with lace boards, sample cards, button cards, and more… such a beautiful and practical piece for any maker.

Her YouTube video also includes a short tutorial, which makes this project even more special.
You can watch it on her YouTube channel here.

Thank you, Nicola, for your beautiful contribution to the Hop… your attention to detail is always so inspiring.
In addition to the collaboration, Nicola also shared her second project for the April Craft Room kit, A Most Curious Tea Party.
She has created the most stunning and intricate interactive journal, filled with pop-up pages, hidden openings, waterfalls, and pockets… truly a little world of wonder in paper form.
