Okay…….so has anyone else ever wanted to do this to their computer???
I’m sure you are nodding your head in agreement. Computers are wonderful when they are working but what a headache when things go so terribly wrong.
Last week my computer automatically uploaded a Microsoft Update…as it always does, however, on this occasion I was (according to Microsoft) one of the ‘very small proportion of consumers’ who had a problem with said update. Oh yeah, GREAT!!!!!!
My system completely crashed and I am starting over again. The biggest loss was my personal and business address books of which I didn’t have a backup. Live and learn.
I have just realised that I am a ‘Computer Addict’. 5 days without my computer and I was completely lost. Sure I had heaps of other things to do but my day sadly revolves around my computer being on all day. Periodically I slide into the comfy swivel desk chair and check my emails, upload my orders and sneak a peek at what the girls in Blogland are doing. 5 days without a computer fix and i have the jitters. So, with most of my system now reloaded I am back in cyber space….hello everyone – I’ll be dropping in to see you all over the next few hours.
Christmas has come early…….
My jittery nerves have been somewhat comforted by the arrival of a parcel in the post this morning. The beautiful Rachael from the Rose Room awarded me a prize in her November Give Away. Thank you Rachael and great big squeeze hugs for making my day.
The prize was this gorgeous little vintage tapestry bag which I know Rachael must have hated parting with given her passion for tapestry.
But wait…there is more……
Rachel not only sent this beautiful bag but filled it with other goodies too – as displayed by the lovely Princess Jess. How pretty is this pen? I’m going to make a pen holder for it so it can sit permanently on my desk.
awwww Kerryanne dear, thats is drastic.hahahhahah how did you get the keyboard smashed into the monitor screen.I thought those kinda things happen only in action pact movies. You crack me up girl :)Aren’t we just so dependant on this thing called the computer. It is a bizarre addiction indeed! Well I’m glad to see that you are back online , tell me about the party you had when you get the chance 🙂
Hugs, Adla
Oh and one more thing… the pressie you received are such delight, I’m sure they made up for the few days without the computer.
Ta for now…
oh yes, been there, done that, no back up, lost my life! Well it seemed like it, actually lost lots of my Princess’s photos. Glad you like the bag, not tooooooo hard to part with, I have another – tee hee!!!! Merry Christmas:)
Oh no, Kerryanee, how awful. It is funny how often we slide on into that comfy computer chair. But hey, life’s short so lets just do it.
Happy to see you are back in the land of blogging. What a great giveaway gift from Rachael. I too have been lucky and received some lovely Giveaways – check my last post.

I am also addicted to my computer! I don’t how you did that to your computer but you must have been upset with it. Congrats on your prizes from the rose room. What loving prizes.
