Hi creative friends,
I’m always delighted to highlight these two amazing Design Team creators, Nicola and Lauren, who teamed up for a fun and festive ‘Craft with Me’ session using the Craft Room’s October kit, Sugar Coated Christmas.
Over the weekend, our Craft Room Facebook group was buzzing with excitement as Nicola and Lauren hosted a live crafting session, guiding us through the creation of Christmas vignette boxes.
The session was full of laughter, great conversation, and, of course, plenty of Christmas crafting!
Nicola & Lauren’s Facebook Live: Christmas Vignette Boxes
Both Nicola and Lauren used elements from the new Sugar Coated Christmas kit, but their individual takes on the project were wonderfully unique.
Nicola followed a matchbox template provided exclusively for our Craft Room members, while Lauren got creative by repurposing mini boxes from a discount store to achieve a similar look.
There was no shortage of festive sparkle as they got their hands messy with fussy cutting, faux snow, and glitter galore!
Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren’s vignette box leaned into a soft, pink palette using the papers and elements from the kit.
Her project was truly dreamy, capturing the shabby chic elegance we all love!
You can catch a short video of her stunning creation below…. it will make your heart sing!
We also adore hearing Lauren’s infectious laughter during her live crafting sessions.
Her joy is contagious, making each project even more delightful. ♥

Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts and More
Nicola went all out with her Christmas vignette, stacking five mini boxes to create a towering, sweet Christmas decor piece!
With miniature glass jars filled with sweet treats and plenty of fussy-cut elements, her vignette is the perfect addition to any festive display.
Take a closer look at all the details in her short video… it’s Christmaslicious!
In addition to the vignette, Nicola has been busy with even more holiday projects this week.
She embraced Elisa’s design team monthly challenge prompt to create handmade cookie boxes, transforming a simple cake box into a sweet Christmas delight using the kit’s papers and fussy-cut cookies.
Nicola, known for her intricate 3D box houses, took her creativity to the next level by crafting three adorable 3D shops: Gingerbread Bakery, The Peppermint Shoppe, and Mrs. Claus’ Milk and Coffee Nook… straight from Candy Cane Lane!
We’re so inspired by Nicola’s work and can’t wait to start our own festive crafting projects. ♥
