Hi creative friends,
September has arrived in the Craft Room, bringing with it a sprinkling of snow, a little fairy magic and our beautiful new Frosted Fairies digital kit.
It’s been two years since we last ventured into the enchanting world of fairies, and this month our tiny friends have travelled to the snowy wonderland of Frosted Hollow.
Wrapped up in their cosy winter woollies, the Frosted Fairies are joined by the sweetest snowy owls, whimsical mushroom houses, frosty florals and lots of magical little details, all brought together in a soft and dreamy winter palette.

And, of course, our talented Design Team ladies have already been busy creating with the new collection. This week I’m delighted to share beautiful projects from Lauren, Sandra, Nicola and Caroline.
Lauren – Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren kicked off our creative month with September’s Craft Room prompt… Whimsical Fairy Wands.
Her gorgeous fairy wand is beautifully layered with a shaker star, adorable Frosted Fairies owl and fairy fussy cuts, and finished with a wonderfully generous tulle bow that gives the whole piece such a soft and magical feel.
Lauren also prepared a quick step-by-step process video exclusively for our Craft Room members, making it easy for everyone to create their own whimsical version.
Thank you, Lauren, for starting our month with such a delightful and inspiring prompt. I’m sure there will be many magical fairy wands appearing in the Craft Room throughout September.

Sandra – Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra’s first Frosted Fairies project this month is a fabulous video tutorial showing us how to create her clever journal page wraps, which you may remember seeing in one of her previous journal projects.
The wrap slips over a journal page and incorporates multiple pockets and tuck spots for holding all those little pieces of ephemera we love to collect. Best of all, it attaches to the page with a hidden paperclip micro envelope… such a clever little detail!

Sandra has also shared her beautiful monthly storage envelope, created with the Frosted Fairies collection and ready to safely store all of her leftover fussy cuts and little treasures from the kit.
I always appreciate Sandra’s generosity in sharing her creative ideas and techniques with our community.
Her tutorials are filled with clever details and fun ideas that inspire us to look at our papers and ephemera in new ways.

Nicola – Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Our queen of dioramas has been working her magic again… and Nicola certainly hasn’t disappointed with her first Frosted Fairies creation.
Nicola has created an entire secret fairy village, complete with a snowy backdrop, whimsical mushroom houses and sweet little fairies and owls enjoying their frosty garden.
There is always so much to discover in Nicola’s wondrous dioramas. From the tiniest embellishments to the beautifully layered scenery, every little corner tells part of the story and invites you to lean in closer to see what magical detail might be hiding there.
I’m sure we’ll be treated to a little video peek inside this secret fairy village very soon.

Caroline – Carolee Crafts
Caroline is rather partial to creating tag books, so it wasn’t long before the Frosted Fairies found their way into a sweet new fairy-themed one.
Her gorgeous tag booklet contains 10 double-sided pages and fits neatly inside its own beautifully decorated box, making it a lovely little keepsake or a very special handmade gift.
Some of the tag pages include pockets for holding tiny pieces of ephemera such as stamps and journal cards, while a pretty no-sew lace binding adds the perfect soft and romantic finishing touch.

I love seeing how differently each of our designers interprets the same collection… from whimsical fairy wands and clever journal additions to tag books and an entire secret fairy village.
There’s already plenty of Frosted Fairy magic floating around the Craft Room, and we’re only just getting started.
I can’t wait to see what else our Design Team … and our wonderfully creative Craft Room members, bring to life in Frosted Hollow this month. ♥
