Who doesn’t love Easter?
Hmm…. looking around…. nope, definitely no hands raised.
What’s not to love – there’s the 4 day holiday, Easter eggs, hot cross buns, seafood, chocolate, cute bunnies, decorating the house, Easter egg hunts and Easter bonnet parades (it’s compulsory you know, every mum must at least once make an Easter bonnet). It’s a magical time for children and a very spiritual time for others.
Even my teenagers still enjoy decorating the house, toasting hot cross buns and awaiting the chocolate feast that is promised. Okay, so the chocolate over-load is probably top of their list, but it is still a lovely family celebration.
So today I thought I’d share a FREE Easter painting pattern with you.
This is Paisley, the hoppy Easter bunny. She comes out of hiding every year at Easter.
Sometimes she greets visitors at the door, other times she features in an Easter grouping or like this year, she’s lurking in the garden adding a spot of colour and charm to the lavender patch.
She makes a lovely addition to your Easter decor and the kids will love seeing their names written on the eggs.
The pattern is available here for FREE download until Easter.
The giving doesn’t stop there though. From today until Sunday evening I am offering a special discount rate to all my Mailing List and blog followers – Enrol for the ‘Embracing the Passion’ e-course this weekend and bring a friend for half price.
That’s right, one of you gets 50% off or each gets a discount of 25%. So, if you want to kick start your mojo and live life more creatively, I’ll show you how during the month of May
Click here to read more or to enrol. Remember, the special offer is for this weekend only.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. In closing I thought I’d share one of my favourite Easter photos.
It still makes me laugh every time!!

Hey Kerryanne! OK … still giggling over the chocolate bunnies … which probably means I’m slightly warped, but I can live with that! Tee! Hee! Hee! Miss Paisley is pretty darn cute … and how generous of you to share her for Easter! I don’t think she’d want to live in my garden at the moment … its seriously in need of some jungle-taming and she would probably lose her easter eggs! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS

I am still laughing at that photo, it is one of my favourites too and I never tire of seeing it.
I have fond memories of easter when my mum would make an extravagant easter bonnet to wear to the parade at school. Haven’t been doing the same with my boys but we love our hot cross buns(of course the chocolate ones!) and eating chocolate without worrying for the day.
thanks for the free pattern
Lee:)
