Hello creative friends,
This past week I’ve been busy making gorgeous ‘happy mail’ with the latest Handmade Club kit, Field of Flowers.
Having the opportunity to send a little bit of happiness through the post fills me with joy… and I hope the recipients will be equally as delighted.
Today however, I changed direction slightly…. although still in gift giving mode.
I’m giving a small ‘thank you’ token gift to a friend containing some chocolate truffles and needed a small bag or box to put them in.
After rummaging through my gift wrapping supplies and coming up with nothing, I decided to use a favourite go-to project.
Do you remember the sweet shabby milk carton gift boxes I shared back in April?
They were so cute and popular…. and I knew they’d be the perfect size for my token gift today.
I quickly made up a couple of designs using the lovely mauve and pink papers from the Field of Flowers kit. Aren’t they pretty!!
After I used them, I decided to share the milk carton gift box printables with the Handmade Club members too. You’ll find the PDF in the August Folder.
There’s also a tutorial on how to make these cute milk carton boxes HERE
Making these petite gift boxes is honestly as easy as…. PRINT, CUT, SCORE, FOLD & GLUE.
And they are super quick; each one can be made within minutes.
Once filled with delicious sweet treats, I closed them with a ribbon bow and added a few embellishments from the kit.
I’m loving these butterflies, which are proving to be very versatile as well.
If you haven’t see the Field of Flowers kit yet, click here to see what else is included in the August club kit.
It’s available for new club subscribers until 7th September.
Happy crafting my friends!
Hugs
♥

These are just adorable! I got the August kit, but I can’t find the PDF for the gift box! Did I miss it? Is there a way I can access the kit again? I’ve downloaded everything (I thought) already, but would love that gift box pattern, especially if it already has the pretty printable papers on it! I think I deleted the email already that had the link to the August kit! Bad me.
Kerryanne…. I just found the email that had the download for the August kit! And I found the gift box PDF’s. So you don’t need to respond to my comment above! I went and looked in my trash folder in the off-chance that it would still be there, and it was. Now I have that adorable milk carton box to use.. plus I did download the other cute one that you provided in this email. I just LOVE milk carton gift boxes! Just something about them!
