Hi creative friends,
This month in the Craft Room, we’re embracing the slower pace and simple pleasures of summer with our brand-new Gentle Summer Days collection.
Inspired by sun-drenched afternoons, treasured memories, cottage gardens, and carefree summer adventures, this whimsical kit is filled with soft florals, vintage touches, and beautiful elements perfect for journals, memory keeping, and papercrafting projects.
Today, I’m delighted to share the first round of Design Team inspiration, featuring wonderful creations from Nicola, Sandra, Caroline, and Lauren.
Be sure to watch the sneak peek video below to take a closer look at the kit before enjoying these beautiful projects.
Nicola ~ Shabby Journals, Crafts & More
Nicola has once again amazed us with her creativity and attention to detail.
Taking inspiration from the vintage Polaroid camera included in the kit, she cleverly transformed it into a delightful 3D model.

One of the most charming details is the way she incorporated the Polaroid-style fussy cuts alongside real family photographs, creating the illusion of treasured snapshots emerging from the front of the camera.
It’s such a fun and imaginative project that perfectly captures the nostalgic spirit of Gentle Summer Days.
Nicola always finds unique ways to bring the kit artwork to life, and this project is no exception.

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Before heading off on her summer caravan holiday in France, Sandra created the most adorable 3D shabby summer caravan inspired by this month’s collection.
Decorated in soft pinks and embellished with lace and silk flowers, it is every bit as charming as you would expect from Sandra’s beautiful shabby style.

What makes this project even more special is its clever design.
The roof lifts away to reveal a hidden compartment inside, perfectly sized to store a small journal.
It’s both decorative and practical… a wonderful keepsake project that showcases the versatility of the kit.
Sandra has also shared a flip-through and mini tutorial on her YouTube channel, allowing us to see all of the lovely details up close.
Thank you, Sandra, for sharing such beautiful inspiration with our Craft Room members.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Caroline has already treated us to two wonderful projects this month, each showcasing her elegant and beautifully finished style.
Her first project is a stunning journal housed inside its own coordinating decorated storage box.

Every detail has been thoughtfully crafted, creating a truly exquisite keepsake.
Be sure to watch the flip-through video below to appreciate all the lovely layers, embellishments, and finishing touches that make this project so special.
In addition, Caroline has revisited the popular accordion tag folder she shared with us last month and created a video tutorial for the accordion tag folder using the Gentle Summer Days collection.
This charming little project is perfect for storing tags, journaling cards, and treasured snippets, and her tutorial makes it easy for members to create their own version.

Thank you, Caroline, for continuing to inspire us with your beautiful craftsmanship and thoughtful tutorials.

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Each month, one of our Design Team members shares a creative prompt to inspire our Craft Room community, and this month Lauren has created a wonderfully fun project that perfectly complements the summer theme.
Lauren’s project features Polaroid magnets, designed to display beautiful snapshots of summer memories on the fridge or any magnetic surface.

It’s a simple yet meaningful project that encourages us to celebrate everyday moments and turn our favourite photographs into charming keepsakes.
A full video tutorial is available inside the Craft Room, making it easy for members to follow along and create their own collection of summer memory magnets.
Thank you, Lauren, for sharing such a thoughtful and inspiring project with our members this month.
