Hello creative friends,
The Handmade Club July kit is aptly called ‘The Picking Garden’ and it is filled with a bounty of beautiful florals, butterflies and vintage ladies.
Its fresh summery colour palette has inspired our Design Team to create the prettiest projects to share with you this month.
Nicola – My Shabby Craft Corner
Nicola has already made several projects this month and we absolutely adore this beautiful album with it’s pretty embroidery hoop shaker on the front… isn’t that clever!
Be sure to click over to –> Nicola’s YouTube channel, My Shabby Craft Corner to see the flip through of this inspiring album.
You don’t want to miss the darling little fabric bonnets Nicola made to include in the album. They are just so stinkin’ cute ♥
If you are a member of our Simply Shabbilicious Facebook group, Nicola has also created a video on how to create the embroidery hoop shaker exclusively for the FB group members —> see it HERE.
Mila Loktionova
Mila used the July kit to create two stunning ‘fairy garden’ boxes.
The first box of whimsy is filled with the pretty butterflies from the kit….
For the second box, Mila created a fairy using one of the sweet bonnet girls and gave her butterfly fairy wings.
I love all the dimension and texture in these boxes that Mila created using embellishments like glitter, sequins and beads.
Wouldn’t they make a stunning gift box for a loved one…. or even used in a pretty décor vignette.
Follow Mila on Instagram for more amazing inspiration.
A very big thank you to Nicola and Mila for these fabulously inspiring projects!
