Hi creative friends,
There’s something quite magical about a little Christmas village, isn’t there?
Snow-covered rooftops, charming little shops dressed for the festive season, twinkling Christmas trees and picturesque streets that look as though they’ve been lifted straight from a Christmas storybook.
Today, I’m inviting you to step into the enchanting world of The Christmas Village, a beautiful printable collection that was originally created exclusively for my Craft Room members and is now available for everyone in the Heritage Collection at Shabby Art Boutique.
And to show you just how magical this collection can be, I’m sharing some truly inspiring projects created by our talented Design Team.
From dimensional Christmas houses and snowy street signs to an enchanting candy shop filled with surprises, there’s plenty of festive inspiration to enjoy!
Welcome to The Christmas Village
Imagine wandering through a whimsical North Pole village, where every little shop has its own story and Christmas magic is waiting around every corner.
The Christmas Village collection features 20 beautifully illustrated watercolour and acrylic houses and shops, each approximately 6 inches tall, along with matching reverse images.

It’s this special feature that makes the collection particularly versatile for creating dimensional paper houses and freestanding Christmas village displays.
The collection also includes delightful coordinating elements such as vintage-style streetlamps, festive signs and Christmas trees, along with 17 coordinating background papers provided in both full-page and 5″ x 7″ journal sizes.
Whether you enjoy making Christmas decorations, dimensional paper crafts, festive journals or handmade gifts, there are so many creative possibilities waiting to be explored.
And the best part? You can bring your own little Christmas village to life, one charming building at a time.

A Magical 3D Christmas Village by Nicola
Nicola – Shabby Journals Crafts & More
If you’ve ever dreamed of creating your own miniature Christmas village, you’re going to adore Nicola’s beautiful dimensional houses.
Nicola has a wonderful talent for transforming printable artwork into enchanting three-dimensional creations, and her Christmas village projects are no exception.
Just look at those charming shopfronts, snowy rooftops and tiny festive details!

Each building has so much character, and when displayed together, they create the most delightful little North Pole streetscape.
What I particularly love about Nicola’s creations is how she brings the printed artwork to life with dimensional details and textured snow, giving the houses that magical, storybook quality.
And here’s something I know many of you will be excited about…
Nicola has generously shared a YouTube tutorial showing how to transform the printable houses into beautiful 3D buildings.
Her tutorial has been a much-loved resource for crafters wanting to create their own Christmas villages, and it’s the perfect place to begin if you’d like to try this style of paper crafting.

A little note before you watch: Nicola originally created this tutorial when The Christmas Village was an exclusive Craft Room collection, so you’ll hear her referring to the membership in her video. The good news is that this beautiful collection is now available for everyone to purchase in my Boutique, so you can follow along and create your own magical Christmas village!
A huge thank you to Nicola for sharing her creativity and making this wonderful technique accessible to fellow crafters.
A Pretty Little Visit to Peppermint Avenue
Another beautiful creation by Nicola
Of course, Nicola didn’t stop at creating dimensional Christmas houses!
Inspired by Jennifer’s lovely Candy Cane Lane project, she also created her own beautiful Peppermint Avenue Christmas street sign.

With its row of snow-covered village shops, festive trees, sweet gingham bows and soft, frosty details, this charming piece of Christmas décor looks as though it belongs in a magical North Pole village.
I especially love how Nicola has arranged the little buildings to create depth and dimension, turning a collection of printable images into a beautiful decorative display.
It’s a wonderful example of how you can use the village artwork in different ways, without necessarily making individual freestanding houses.
Thank you, Nicola, for sharing two such beautiful and inspiring ways to enjoy The Christmas Village collection.

Mrs. Claus’ Enchanting Candy Shop
Lauren – Shabby Chic Sundae
Now, if there’s one thing Lauren knows how to do, it’s fill a project with wonderful little surprises!
Her incredible Mrs. Claus’ Candy Shop is a magical combination of dimensional crafting, festive storytelling and beautiful keepsake details.
Using one of the buildings from The Christmas Village collection, Lauren created a wooden 3D candy shop that opens to reveal a miniature world of Christmas sweetness.

Inside are tiny candy jars displayed on shelves, a delightful Advent calendar and a beautiful handmade journal that doubles as Mrs. Claus’ very own candy recipe book.
And this isn’t just an ordinary journal!
It contains 25 removable candy recipes to make and enjoy during the festive season, along with a pretty removable charm and ribbon tassel.
Lauren even added lighting inside the shop, so you can peek through the windows and catch a glimpse of the magical interior while the doors are closed.
Isn’t that the sweetest idea?

I love how Lauren has taken a single printable Christmas building and transformed it into something so imaginative and interactive.
It’s a beautiful reminder that a little creative thinking can turn paper crafting into a treasured Christmas keepsake.
Be sure to watch Lauren’s YouTube video to enjoy all the beautiful details and hidden surprises inside her enchanting candy shop.
Thank you, Lauren, for sharing such an imaginative and inspiring project.

A Sweet Christmas Welcome on Candy Cane Lane
Jennifer – Crafting Sweetness
Our final project is a delightful piece of festive home décor created by Jennifer from Crafting Sweetness.
Jennifer used the beautiful village artwork to create her Candy Cane Lane Christmas street sign, and it’s such a lovely way to bring a little North Pole magic into your Christmas decorating.

Featuring a picturesque row of snowy shops, pretty pink and red accents, festive bows and a generous sprinkling of frosty texture, her sign captures all the charm of a traditional Christmas village.
I particularly love how the layered buildings create the appearance of a little street nestled amongst the snow-covered trees.
It’s a lovely example of how the printable houses can be used to create decorative pieces for your home, rather than being limited to individual paper buildings.
Jennifer has also shared her creative process in a YouTube project video, so you can enjoy seeing how she brought her beautiful Christmas sign together.
Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing such a sweet and festive idea!

Create Your Own Christmas Magic
One of the things I love most about designing printable collections is seeing how differently each crafter interprets the artwork.
The same little Christmas houses can become a miniature village, a dimensional keepsake, a beautiful decorative sign or something entirely unexpected.
And that’s exactly what makes The Christmas Village such a special collection.
With 20 beautifully illustrated houses and shops, matching reverse images, coordinating festive elements and gorgeous background papers, there’s plenty of opportunity to make something uniquely your own.
Whether you’re creating a snowy village to display on a mantel, crafting a special handmade gift or simply enjoying a little festive paper crafting, I hope these beautiful Design Team projects have filled you with inspiration.
The Christmas Village is now available in the Heritage Collection at Shabby Art Boutique, bringing a little of our Craft Room’s Christmas magic to everyone.
