Hi creative friends,
As we settle into the gentle coziness of December, our Craft Room has been absolutely buzzing with creativity.
The new Cottage Days digital kit has clearly captured everyone’s hearts, and this week our talented Design Team… Nicola, Caroline, Kim, and Myry, have each offered us the sweetest glimpses into their cosy cottage worlds.
Before we take a look at their beautiful projects, I want to send out a warm hug to everyone who joined Nicola and I for our Craft & Chat Facebook Live last Saturday.
It was Nicola’s late afternoon in the UK and the very early hours of the morning here in Australia… so yes, I showed up in my Christmas pyjamas!
And what a joy it was to craft together with members from all over the world.
These little moments truly remind me just how special our Craft Room community is.

Nicola made the most adorable paper-covered box filled with lace bobbins and spools… each one wrapped in Cottage Days papers and trimmed in Nicola’s signature shabby touches.
Such a pretty and practical little treasure!

And I worked on my 2026 Project Planner Folio, which I’ll be using to map out digital kits throughout the year.
It was such a relaxed, chatty session full of laughter, hot chocolates, and festive spirit.
Thank you to everyone who spent part of their day with us.

Nicola – Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola has such a gift for taking a simple idea and turning it into something magical.
This week her projects feels like they stepped straight out of a cottage sewing room… soft, pretty, and perfectly organized.
Mrs Bunny’s Button box is such a lovely example of how Cottage Days can be both beautiful and practical.

Nicola also shared a wonderfully clever and practical idea for creating a desk organiser using empty cardboard tubes, lovingly covered in the pretty shabby papers from Cottage Days.
It’s such a thoughtful way to repurpose everyday items while adding beauty to your creative space… proof once again that Nicola has a real gift for blending functionality with charm.

Her projects always encourage us to see possibilities in the simplest of things, and that’s something I truly love about her creative style.

Kim ~ My Artful Crafts
Kim created a truly lovely ring-bound planner using one of the papers from the Cottage Days paper pack, edging it in delicate lace for that unmistakable shabby finish.

The result is soft, feminine, and timeless… perfect for planning while still feeling like a little keepsake.
Kim’s work always carries such a calm and thoughtful elegance, and her attention to detail makes each project feel extra special.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Caroline has been incredibly busy this week, and her creativity has absolutely blossomed with the Cottage Days kit.
She began by creating a beautiful boudoir cushion, printing the sweet cottage design onto fabric and finishing it with pretty lace… such a dreamy idea.

She then went on to make two adorable bunny door-handle hangers with matching cards, followed by a set of four gorgeous cards with coordinating tags.
As if that wasn’t enough, Caroline also created a sweet notebook for social media tracking.
You can watch her flip through YouTube video here.
Her enthusiasm and versatility shine through in every piece, and her projects are filled with warmth, charm, and so much inspiration.

Myry ~ Fils et Papiers
It’s been especially lovely to welcome Myry back after some time away recovering from illness.
She returned with a beautiful layered card created using the Cottage Days kit, featuring one of the sweet bunnies surrounded by delicate paper and silk flowers.

Her signature attention to detail and thoughtful layering make her work instantly recognisable, and this project is no exception.
It’s such a joy to have her creative voice back with us, and I know many of our members will feel inspired by her gentle artistry.
