Spring is in the air…..
Well nearly… today is the first day of Spring and while the weather is a bit variable there is the occasional burst of sunshine as the sun pops her head out from behind the rain clouds.I think by now you all know that I despise winter and can barely wait for the changing of the seasons. I ventured into the garden today for a short stroll and was surprised to see that there are many signs of Spring if you take time to look. Come for a stroll with me.
Bees are buzzing around everywhere which must mean Spring is here.

Daisy and lavender bushes are in full bloom.

My Husband hates these gorgeous little flowers – better known in our house as WEEDS!! I love their cheery little faces and what looks cuter than a mini vase or cream jug filled with a bunch of dainty blue flowers.
Thanks for joining me for a stroll around the garden. I think I will sit now for awhile and enjoy the first signs of Spring.
Yes,I think spring has surely sprung!!!
I too have seen the little signs of it around…In our haste it has been nice to take 5 and notice these reminders,
Your photos are lovely!
Gorgeous, I loved today also, sun, no rain, clothes on the line and I gardened!!!! Bliss!!! Rachaelxo
Happy Spring Kerryanne, love your gorgeous flowers, so pretty. I am a little concerned about that bee though it doesn’t actually seem to be flying around, it does appear to be having a little nap however….either that or….you have taken a photo of a DEAD BEE! oh my goodness that is soooo funny and now everyone is going back to take a really good look at the photo…maybe it is just the angel, whoops I mean angle!! Hehehe I am so amused now, kiss noises Linda Lilly Cottage.
Hey chickadee, YAY for Spring huh! I love that piccie with the bee. I have a bee who keeps visiting my primulas..Sam has named him Wilburt, LOL. Today Wilburt was most excited about Spring i think. He was ‘buzzing’ with excitement…ha ha get it..???LOL.
I love your little ‘weeds’ too, they are one of my favourites. Oh and i love your girl in the garden, she is PRECIOUS!
Luv Ya

Oh you guys…..
I took the photo and even I had to go back and have a look.
Yes that bee was really buzzing. I snapped the photo as he was charging up to the centre of the flower but now that I look at it, he does seem to be on a funny angle.
Spring has made us all ‘buzzing’ mad.
Hugs Kerryanne
I feel your winter pain, sister — I, too, HATE WINTER! Summer is winding down on this side of the pond, but we still have a couple months of gorgeous late summer, then autumn, weather, before the dark of winter sets in.
Then I’ll be stalking all you Down Under gals’ blogs for photos of spring and summer to tide me over until our own spring comes once again.
I despise winter too – sadly it is coming for us here in the US but so happy you will be getting the sunshine and warmth!
Karla
Love your Spring shots Kerryanne, and I’m with you – I’m over Winter after about 2 days of it!
Hey Kerryanne! Oooohh! Suffering from garden envy right now! The lavender in our front yard is the only thing that really looks ‘spring-y’ as our adopted doggie seems to think the garden beds in the back yard are actually meant to be a doggy race-track! SIGH! She has flattened most things out there, so will have to start again as soon as I work our how to keep her out! Spring put in an appearance here for a few days, but ducked back out of the room yesterday when gale force winds arrived and today is rainy and cold. I know we need rain, but wish it would leave the cold at home before visiting!!! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)
