Hi creative friends,
Last week I shared a sneak peek at my pink Gingers Christmas tree in my craft room and today I’m back to share the rest of my festive work room.
It’s an absolute pleasure to be surrounded by all this sparkle and festivity at this time of the year.
Even without the lights on it still glimmers in the morning sunlight.
For the past few years I’ve been hanging a garland across my IKEA Kallax unit.
Someone asked this week how I secure it… I actually just used clear thumb tacks pressed into the top of the unit and then I wound some of the garland sprigs around the thumb tacks to secure the garland in place.
The garland is decorated similar to last year… I used many of the same baubles, but added in pink silk roses as well.
On top of the unit I kept it simple with a pine forest of flocked trees in varying sizes.
My Tilda reindeers found a home this year on the shelf … along with a set of wood shabby Santas I created quite a few years ago.
It’s fun to shop my Christmas store room and bring out some older items again.
These handmade reindeers with their quirky stick antlers always make me smile.
Moving round past the reindeer shelf and the French doors, I have my pink Gingers corner beside the sewing table.
The tree is such a lovely ‘shabbilicious’ feature and being narrow, it takes up very little space.
You can read my pink gingers tree post here.
I also hung 20 metres of mini white icicle lights around the cornices of the room …. and I might be tempted to keep these up all year!
The whole room is soft and pretty and who doesn’t love a room filled with twinkling lights at Christmas ♥
PIN for later
Happy crafting & Merry Christmas,
♥

So very pretty and festive. I really enjoy seeing your decorating every year. The lights are all so cheery. I bought two sets of twinkle lights for my dining room windows. Those lights lift my spirits every day. Money is so tight this year. I have my family to hug and hold. That is enough. Happy holidays and hugs. Love Cheryl

Your craft room is beautiful! I love the pretty colours in the Garland. The reindeer are so whimsical they have to make you smile. I fell in love with your pink gingerbread tree, it’s exquisite. This must inspire you every time you go in. A beautiful room all in. Enjoy Kerryann. Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year to you and yours. Hugs xx : )

Thank you so much Vivien. ♥
It’s amazing how uplifting it is to be surrounded by twinkling lights and Christmas pretties. I’ve enjoyed them for 3 months and will be a little sad to take it all down in the New Year, but at the same time, I always embrace a fresh start to the year.
Merry Christmas to you lovely and thank you for your support throughout 2022.
Hugs ~ Kerryanne xx

The garland is just gorgeous and must have taken forever to create! Lots of patience. What a fun and creative environment in which to work. Happy holidays!

Thank you so much Teddee.
You may be surprised to know that the garland goes up in less than an hour. I store my garlands with the lights on them and all I need to do when I unpack them each year is fluff them up and then load them up with baubles.
It’s certainly been a delightful workspace for the past 3 months.
Merry Christmas!
