Hello friends,
I was looking back at some older Christmas photos and projects this weekend and realised there’s quite a few that aren’t listed on my tutorials page.
It’s funny how we sometimes forget about the decorating of previous years… or maybe all the Christmases have merged into one, but I had forgotten about our very pretty and ‘shabbilicious’ Christmas of a few years ago.
Now that I look back, I remember that the hydrangea bushes were full of blooms in pretty pinks and greens and they were the starting point of this casual, yet shabby Christmas tablescape.
A mix of fresh and silk pink flowers were added to the stretch of hydrangeas and fresh greens down the centre of the table. Fairly lights and faux patchwork Christmas ornaments were tucked in between the blooms.
Using a limited palette of fabrics in pastel pink and greens, all the DIY projects tied together nicely….
From the sweet little stamped tealight candles, to the faux patchwork stocking cutlery holder and hand stamped napkins.
Here’s the links to the DIY projects used in this pretty tablescape:
Faux Patchwork Ornaments,
Faux Patchwork Christmas Stocking Cutlery Holder,
Shabbilicious and Vintage Baubles
I hope you enjoyed seeing this pretty ‘shabbilicious’ tablescape again… or maybe for the first time!
Don’t forget, there are lots of free DIY projects and tutorials on my TUTORIALS page.

Happy Christmas crafting!

Heavens Kerryanne, so many wonderful ornaments to make, would make them all if I had the money to buy the supplies. Since we live on our Social Security our funds are often limited. The last we got paid was Nov.22nd.and won’t get paid again until 2 days after Christmas. This is a hard time to have 5 weeks between paydays. Even tho a holiday when we’d spend more money is rushing up at us just can stretch what we get so far. And those nasty old bills still need to be paid, bummer, lol. Just one of the joys of being a senior citizen. What we want to do and what we can do aren’t the same, still like to gift the grandkids and my oldest son’s b/d is 12/21.He will be an astonishing 55,yikes. My oldest was 57 in July, she lives in San Diego, CA area as does my oldest son. Our 2 youngest live close by us in our CO area.
Would so love to be able to make the faux patch work ornaments, have loved those since you featured them while ago.
Are you a busy beaver crafter making lots for your family and friends for Christmas?.
Take good care of yourself. Thanks for getting these projects up for us.
