So, it’s been more than a week since I last posted….
It was what I like to call a ‘bitsa’ week – that’s Kerry speak for ‘a bit of this, a bit of that…a messy kind of week’. I hate those kind of weeks. I felt like I achieved nothing but that was because I was working on many projects, none of which actually got completed. This week will be the opposite with lots of projects being finished – yay.
The reason for having many things on the go at once is because I am busy making faux cakes again. The shops are gearing up for their pre-Christmas shopping frenzy, so are stocking up in readiness. When I make cakes they go through various processes so you can only do a bit each day. While they dry I work on other projects and before you know it the studio has several work stations on the go and the place gets crowded and messy…or perhaps I should call it creative clutter!!
Just to spice things up a bit more this week there was a new girl around the house.

Can you guess who????
Ha ha …yes it is little ol’ moi. Can you believe the straight hair? This is what happens when you have a teenage daughter with a straightening iron. Hubby quite likes the change but I suspect he feels like he is chasing a new woman around the house.. LOL.
So, onto other things – this post is a real mixed bag today.
The Princess and I made yummy pumpkin, feta and leek pasties for lunch today.
Just the fact the Princess was helping is a marvel on its own. She doesn’t usually ‘Do kitchens’. About the only thing she has in common with the kitchen is she loves to eat food…[sigh] and still she is a tall thin beanpole!! Despite being hindered by the kitchen assistant…(oops, guess I should be grateful she tried), the pasties turned out quite well.
They are super easy so we made a big batch to freeze. With the school holidays starting at the end of this week it will be good to have a few extra things already made for when their friends drop in. Teenagers seem to be bottomless pits when it comes to food. Only wish I had their metabolism!!
Moving right along to another totally unrelated topic….
Here are another two items that will be added to my ‘Art For Sale’ collection. Hopefully when the wind dies down I can varnish them.

Bits a week but lots a fun by the sounds of it!!
Those pastie things sound and look delicious…Drool,Drool!
And you look pretty delicious too…(did I just type that!)
Well…Um…Very nice with straight hair!:)
Take Care
I know those kind of weeks, except I have more of those weeks than finished item ones…one week bits next week finished…pretty impressive!!
Nice new hairstyle, though I do like your gorgeous curls and I will also bet that anytime you want to have your hair straightened you shall not be able to find said teenager anywhere!
