I have exciting news to share today, so grab a cuppa… and let’s chat.
First of all, thank you for all the lovely feedback yesterday on my new bunny, Petal. I will be selling some more of these hand painted one-of-a-kind bunnies later on, but have already taken several orders this morning, so won’t be able to do anymore before Easter.

So let’s get on with the exciting news… I’ve been keeping a secret.
A good secret… but I don’t like keeping secrets from my friends.
When I first started blogging 8 years ago, I never guessed it would change my life. But it did… because it was here that I found an amazing community of ‘shabbilicious’ friends.
I love that we share the fun stuff like DIY, crafting projects and recipes, but it’s all the other little things we share along the way that makes this community truly amazing. We’ve moved along with technology and found other ways to connect… we chat, tweet, pin and regram each other as well.
So, what if I told you there was a NEW way to do all these things in one place… I know, amazing right!
Well, we can… its called bHome… and it’s free.
So my friends…. this is where my secret comes in and I’m so excited that I can finally share this with you.
A little while back, my friend Kelly from My Soulful Home invited me to join her launch team for a new app that her husband Peter and she have designed. I felt so humbled… and I don’t mind telling you, a bit overwhelmed to be mixing it with the bloggers I admire so much. And on top of that, I had to keep it a secret until it was all ready to launch.
Soooo, I’ve been using the bHome app for several months… and controlling my urge to yell “I love bHome!!” to all and sundry. At last, I can tell you all about it.
bHome is a community that is passionate about home and garden. A place of creativity and inspiration ~ a place to come together.
I’m sure you will be right at home there because you’ll see many of your favourite blogs, magazines and brands there… all together in one place, on one app.
Here’s a few of them.
The bHome app is available to download free right away for iPhones and iPads and will soon be available for androids too. All you have to do is go here to download.
So here’s a little of what it can do…
Once you log in by tapping the screen, you can browse around, visit blogs, pin images, tweet a recipe, share to Instagram & Facebook, ‘keep‘ something for future reference, search a topic, listen to our playlists and so much more.
There’s already a group of amazing bloggers and magazines there, with more being added every week. You can make your own list of favourites by simply tapping the yellow star on each blog or magazine. Be sure to click on the yellow star for Shabby Art Boutique!!
Once you are on bHome, please pop over and join my chat thread or send me a private message, so I can welcome you. Maybe you’d even like to listen to my playlist and hear what I have playing currently in my studio.

wish I could download this app….sounds really cool. I don’t have an i-phone or i-pod though…Petal is gorgeous and reminds me of the time I used to make adorable little bunnies and teddies but no longer due to my arthritis. still make some things though and I love your blog, always makes me feel happy!

Petal is perfect and pink! I couldn’t enter as have an android phone. Sounds primitive typing that. Lol Technology keeps moving in leaps and bounds. It is amazing.
