Beautiful Linen, Lace & Paper Design Team Projects

Hi creative friends,

Last week I launched the new digital kit… Linen, Lace & Paper

And our talented Design Team ladies are busy working on inspiring projects to share with you.

Nicola has already created 3 beautiful pieces that she is sharing with you this week. 

Nicola ~ My Shabby Craft Corner

The Linen, Lace & Paper kit is quite versatile and can be used as shabby, vintage, spring or Easter.

Nicola decided to print some of the kit papers onto fabric to use in a couple of her projects.

Spring Embroidery Hoop

Her spring embroidery hoop project has a pretty printed fabric backing that has been embroidered with the cutest French knot roses.

Nicola wanted to keep this more vintage spring themed rather than Easter, so has created a sweet bunny patch at the base of her embroidery hoop using several bunnies and rose fussy cuts from the kit.

The addition of  a couple of 3D  paper roses gives the project texture and  dimension.

Lace Spool Caddy

How adorable is Nicola’s caddy that holds lace spools from the kit!

Nicola also used some of the kit papers to create larger spools as well.

 

The caddy is covered in paper from the kit and Nicola also made the petty paper roses that she used on the front of the caddy.

She has shared a tutorial for making these paper roses as well.

If you’ve watched the first video, you would have already seen the cute mini fabric sewing machine.

Isn’t that adorable!!  We all need one of these on our crafting desk.

Nicola printed one of the kit papers onto fabric to use in this project and decorated the sewing machine with several fussy cuts.
