Hi creative friends,
Today we are so happy to officially welcome a brand new month in the Craft Room with the release of our February kit, Apple Blossom Farm.
This gentle farm-inspired collection celebrates country life at a slower pace… apple orchards in bloom, vintage dairy farm details, soft florals, and the simple pleasures of handmade living.
It’s a kit designed for storytelling, layering, journaling, and heartfelt projects, and it has been such a joy to see it come to life in the hands of our Design Team.
We’ve certainly kicked February off with a busy and inspiring week, with beautiful projects from Nicola, Sandra, Agnieszka, Lauren, and Caroline.
Nicola – Shabby Journals, Crafts & More
Nicola got everyone off to a wonderful start this month with a simple but powerful creative prompt: choose one of the larger elements from the kit and use it as the foundation for a layered project.
Using the milk can as her base, Nicola layered it up with pretty florals and farm-themed fussy cuts, creating a beautifully balanced piece while walking members through her process in an inspiration video.
She also hosted a Facebook Live in our private Craft Room group, generously sharing her ideas, tips, and encouragement.

A huge thank you to Nicola for all that she does to inspire and support our community.
She is a wonderful ambassador for Shabby Art Boutique, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and enthusiasm she brings to the Craft Room each month.

Sandra – Atelier Vintage Rose
This week also marked a special milestone for Sandra, who made her debut appearance on a Facebook Live alongside Nicola… and she was absolutely brilliant.
Speaking in her second language, Sandra confidently shared her creative process and showed just how approachable and versatile layering can be.
Using Apple Blossom Farm, Sandra created several small fence pieces to use as bases, decorating them with carefully chosen fussy cuts.
One of these evolved into a beautiful farm-themed card, perfectly showcasing how small elements can be built up into something truly special.

Thank you, Sandra, for so generously giving your time, courage, and creativity during the Facebook Live. Your calm, thoughtful approach was such a gift to our members.

Agnieszka LaLoggia
Agnieszka has enthusiastically embraced the Apple Blossom Farm theme and already has several projects in the works.
This week, she was especially inspired by Nicola’s paper bag journal shared during the Facebook Live… so much so that she immediately got to work creating her own lunch bag journal.
The results are wonderful, with Agnieszka bringing her own creative flair and attention to detail to the project.

Her willingness to jump in, experiment, and reinterpret ideas is such a joy to see, and her projects always feel full of heart and curiosity.
We can’t wait to see more of what Agnieszka has planned this month.

Lauren – Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren has been incredibly busy and has shared a truly delightful collection of projects this week.
She created a loaded farm truck filled with tags and ephemera, accompanied by two coordinating journals… one designed as a cookbook and the other as a writing journal.

She followed these projects with an ephemera layering tutorial on YouTube, along with a full flip-through of both journals.

Lauren’s attention to detail is exceptional, and her layering techniques are thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully explained.

Her willingness to openly share her techniques makes her projects not only inspiring but also incredibly educational for our community.

There is so much to see in these projects, and the best way to appreciate all the little details is to watch Lauren’s flip-through on YouTube.

Caroline – Carolee Crafts
Caroline has two lovely projects to share this week, both highlighting her clever and creative approach to using kit elements.
Her first project is an inspiration piece showing how scraps can be transformed into something wearable, such as this charming pendant… a beautiful reminder that even the smallest pieces can become something special. This piece was created with scraps from the Hedgerow Hollow kit.

Her second project is a stunning stationery gift box created with the new Apple Blossom Farm kit.
Inside the beautifully decorated box is a coordinated collection including a set of 5” x 7” farm-themed cards, elegant money envelopes, a notebook, and a wonderfully clever mini journal made using CD covers.

Caroline’s projects are always thoughtfully designed and full of lovely surprises, and this gift box is no exception.

It’s been a wonderful start to February, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the month brings with Apple Blossom Farm.
The Apple Blossom Farm kit is a Craft Room exclusive kit, which means it isn’t currently available for individual purchase.

The good news is that The Craft Room will be opening its doors to new subscribers in May.
