What a joy it is to be a guest here at the beautiful Shabby Art Boutique!
My name is Janis and I blog at All Things Beautiful.
I am a Texas girl who lives in the "Hill Country" in the southern part of our big state. I enjoy sharing my decor ideas, diy projects and a few of my favorite recipes.
Today I want to show you my burlap and velvet stockings that I made.
I chose burlap (I ordered a finer weave and it’s less smelly) and ivory velvet as my fabric choice.
Burlap is all the rage, you know. I may be late to the party, but I made my own version.
I wanted a basic shape with a contrasting cuff of velvet, and then I personalized each one with different adornments.
for my own Christmas stocking.
interesting for his stocking.

Kerryanne, your guest was just the distraction I needed from a busy day as I finally landed for a cuppa. And “all things beautiful” they are Janis. They would add a touch of style to any Christmas decorating. Thanks for caring and sharing you two. Blessings, Mary.
I love them too Mary and I’m so pleased to have Janis visiting SAB today.
Janis these are beautiful. Thank you Kerryanne for inviting Janis along to be your guest – more wonderful inspiration for the Holiday period.
