I’ve finally finished work for the year and celebrated last night with a studio Christmas party.
The mood was set with 40 candle jars. . .
and a canopy of twinkling fairy lights.
Together with a small group of gorgeous girlfriends we were content to. . .
Eat drink and be MERRY.
Candle light is brilliant for setting the mood for such an event and these candle jars couldn’t be simpler.
All you need is clean washed jars, tea light candles, Epsom salts and an all purpose clear glue.
If you’d like to add salt to the jar rims, apply a bead of glue around the top of the jar then sprinkle with Epsom Salts. Pour some more salt into the base of the jar before adding your tea light candle. Tip: You will need extra long matches to light the candles.
Just 4 sleeps to go!!

The font on the title – is that Jayne Print? I found it myself a few months ago and it’s just so cute but I hadn’t seen it implemented on a website till now! Looks great!

Hi – Enjoyed your post – just found your blog today! I’ve been wondering about putting tea lights into jars like this – no issues w/glass shattering?
That’s been my fear!
Also – any tips on attaching lights up across the room – how’d you hang them? Command hooks? Just wondering – thanks – looks beautiful!
The candle jars So CUTE !!!
