The magical world of Frosted Fairies continues to inspire our talented Design Team this week, and I think you’ll agree that they have taken these sweet winter fairies in some wonderfully imaginative directions.
One of the things I love most about seeing a kit in the hands of different designers is discovering just how versatile the artwork can be. This week we have everything from a peaceful sympathy card and pretty fairy décor to loaded pockets, interactive cards and an absolutely extraordinary fairy house.
So, pop on your warmest fairy wings and come with me for another little wander through Frosted Hollow…
Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra has created the sweetest Loaded Fairy House Box, and there is so much tucked away inside this gorgeous project to discover.
Her little fairy house is filled with four wiggle cards, six smaller cards, tags and a rosette wand, all beautifully coordinated with the soft blues, snowy florals and adorable characters from the Frosted Fairies kit.
I especially love the idea of a project that is beautiful on display but also holds a whole collection of smaller handmade treasures. Sandra has such a wonderful talent for adding layers, texture and interactive details to her creations, and this delightful loaded house feels like a little box of fairy surprises just waiting to be explored.

Tracy ~ A Trace of Tradition | Guest Designer
Our lovely guest designer Tracy has once again surprised us with one of her wonderfully clever constructions.
This week she has created an Illusion Mail Bag, complete with a large pocket filled with an adorable fairy-sized illusion mail bag, postcards, cards and a fairy wand.
The oversized mail bag with its tiny counterpart is such a whimsical idea and fits perfectly into the magical world of Frosted Fairies.
Best of all, while the finished project looks quite intricate, Tracy assures us that the construction is actually very achievable.

Tracy has such a gift for taking a simple idea and adding that unexpected little twist that makes you stop and look twice.
The tiny mail bag tucked inside the larger one is utterly charming and makes this project feel as though it really has arrived straight from the Fairy Post.

Agnieszka ~ LaLoggia
This week Agnieszka needed to make a sympathy card for a friend and turned to the softer, more serene elements of the Frosted Fairies kit.
Rather than using the fairy characters, Aga selected the delicate blue and white florals and coordinating papers to create a beautiful, peaceful card with a very gentle feel.
I think this is such a lovely example of the versatility of a digital kit.
While Frosted Fairies is filled with whimsical winter magic, the soft florals and tranquil colour palette can also be used for quieter and more heartfelt occasions.
Aga’s card is understated, elegant and beautifully composed… the soft layers and delicate floral wreath create exactly the sense of calm and tenderness that a sympathy card calls for.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Caroline has two very pretty fairy décor projects to share with us this week.
Her first project is a gorgeous Frosted Fairies bunting made up of eleven individual paper pennants strung together on silver cord.
Each pennant has been embellished with lace and one of the sweet fairy fussy cuts, complete with sparkling glittered wings. The combination of the pale blue papers, white lace and touches of silver gives the whole garland such a lovely frosted appearance.
Caroline’s second project is Maisie on a Lace Moon, a sweet hanging decoration featuring a metal crescent moon completely covered in beautiful lace.
She has embellished the moon with blue and white floral fussy cuts from the kit, a bow and lantern, with little Maisie perched at the base.
Both projects capture the soft, feminine side of Frosted Fairies beautifully, and I especially love the way Caroline has combined the printed artwork with lace, glitter and texture to turn the fairies into charming pieces of whimsical home décor.

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
And finally… Lauren has given us just a sneak peek at her latest project today, but what a sneak peek it is!
Lauren and her dad… affectionately known to our Craft Room members as Mr Shabby… have created an extraordinary Magical Fairy Toadstool House.
This wonderfully dimensional house is covered in thick, snowy texture and surrounded by a magical winter landscape complete with foliage, mushrooms, a pond and waterfall. Tiny glowing lights illuminate the snowy exterior, while fairy fussy cuts and other elements from the Frosted Fairies kit bring the whole scene to life.
There are even tiny fairy clothes hanging outside to dry… which may just be one of my favourite details!
The creativity and sheer amount of detail that Lauren and Mr Shabby have poured into this little Frosted Hollow world is extraordinary… it feels less like a craft project and more like stepping straight into a fairy tale.
And this is only Part One!
Lauren will be revealing the inside of the fairy house along with a coordinating journal in Part Two, so I think we can safely say there is plenty more fairy magic still to come.

Another Magical Week in Frosted Hollow
What an inspiring collection of projects from our designers this week.
I love seeing how differently each designer interprets the same collection of artwork. Sandra and Tracy have taken us into the playful world of dimensional and interactive paper crafting, Aga has shown us the quieter elegance of the kit, Caroline has transformed the fairies into beautiful decorative pieces, and Lauren and Mr Shabby have quite literally built them their own magical home.

And I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of the magic from Frosted Hollow just yet…
