Today I finally found time to finish a couple of projects I started just after Christmas. . .
I always get an enthusiastic burst of energy in the New Year, as I prepare my diaries and calendars for the year ahead.
This first project really came about out of necessity. . . it’s a magnetic calendar for the fridge.
You know the sort . . . where you rip off the top page at the end of the month.
After I made it I had a thought. . .
If I folded the top half down over the calendar, I’d have a nifty mini calendar book for my handbag too!!
This is another really quick and easy project that you can construct in less than an hour.
The project instructions for the Printable Mini Calendar are available as a free .pdf download HERE
The second project was a little more complex. . .
It’s a free standing vintage desk calendar.
I have no intention of writing on it. . . it is purely a month at a glance calendar that will be used for quick reference on my desk.
Don’t you just love projects that are both useful and decorative!
I used a Kaisercraft Beyond the Page Calendar kit for this project. It measures 18 cm x 18 cm and contains 6 double sided MDF pages with pre drilled holes at the top for binder.rings.
I’ve designed 12 individual calendar pages using beautiful Victorian artwork.
If you’d like to make your own vintage desk calendar using my graphics, this project is available as an E-pattern in my Boutique.
The pattern contains full sized printable graphics and detailed step-by-step instructions for making the desk calendar.
I’m sharing my free vintage fridge calendar download at this week’s link parties and with these friends: French Country Cottage, The Vintage Farmhouse, 36th Avenue, Clean and Scentsible, Live Laugh Rowe, The DIY Dreamer, Transformation Thursday, At The Picket Fence, Nifty Thrifty Sunday, and Tutorials & Tips Link party.
So vintage…so beautiful creations,I love them!!!
Hy Kerryanne! I am in love with Victorian artwork. You really made the graphics by yourself? Congratulations for the talent and for all your beautiful projects!
