Hi creative friends,
It may be the final week of August, but our talented Design Team certainly isn’t slowing down!
I have quite a few beautiful projects to share with you this week from Lauren, Tracy, Nicola and Agnieszka, all created using our August Craft Room collection, Swanmere Estate.
From romantic journals and clever papercrafts to beautiful handmade gifts, it has been such a joy to see the ladies interpret the elegance and whimsical storytelling of Swanmere Estate in their own individual styles.
So, settle in with a cuppa because we have lots of gorgeous inspiration to enjoy this week… including several video flip-throughs and a fabulous tutorial.
Lauren – Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren has created the most beautiful romantic and elegant Swanmere Estate journal, measuring approximately 5″ wide by 7″ high.
One of the lovely features of this journal is its fully removable outer cover, which opens to reveal the sweetest vintage lace apron pockets attached to the inside cover… perfect for tucking away little pieces of ephemera.

Throughout the journal, Lauren has added the most gorgeous lace pockets, giving the whole project a wonderfully soft and romantic feel.
Beautiful layered tags have also been attached to every other page, adding even more texture, detail and interest.
Lauren has shared a full flip-through of her journal over on her YouTube channel, where you can appreciate all of those beautiful little details. Watch Lauren’s video flip-through here.
Lauren has such a wonderful eye for detail, and I especially love the way she combines layers, lace and tiny embellishments to create projects that feel so beautifully considered from beginning to end.

Tracy – A Trace of Tradition | Guest Designer
Earlier this month, our August Guest Designer, Tracy, shared her absolutely stunning Swanmere Estate tunnel card and invitation project.
For her final project this month, Tracy has created the most amazing Swanmere Estate star card, which perfectly complements her tunnel card and invitation and feels like another chapter in the same beautiful story.

There are so many wonderful details to discover as the card unfolds.

And while you’re there, please consider giving Tracy a like and follow as she begins her YouTube journey.
But that’s not all!
Tracy has also very generously created two tutorial videos showing you how she made her Swanmere Estate tunnel card and star card, so if you’d like to try creating them yourself, be sure to watch her tutorials.

A huge thank you to Tracy for sharing such fabulous projects with us during her month as Guest Designer.
I absolutely adore the way she embraces the whimsical storytelling behind a collection and then weaves her own creativity into that story.
Every tiny detail feels intentional and adds another little piece of magic to her projects. Thank you, Tracy, for inspiring us so beautifully this month.

Nicola – Shabby Journals Crafts & More
For her final Swanmere Estate project this month, Nicola has created an adorable altered tall envelope, embellished with pretty lace and lots of gorgeous layers of fussy cuts from the collection.

It’s such a lovely way to turn a simple envelope into something special, with Nicola’s signature layering bringing plenty of texture and vintage charm to the finished piece.
You can take a closer look at Nicola’s altered envelope over on her Instagram account.
A very big thank you to Nicola for all of the amazing inspiration she has shared with us throughout August, and also for joining Agnieszka to host this month’s Craft & Chat Facebook Live in the Craft Room. Your creativity and generosity are always so appreciated, Nicola.

Agnieszka LaLoggia
Agnieszka has finished the month with the sweetest handmade gift for a friend… one of her darling book boxes.

This beautiful little box is perfectly sized to hold eight envelopes and cards of varying sizes, along with a pen, and there’s still plenty of room to add a few more treasures.
I love projects like this that are not only beautiful but practical too, and what a thoughtful handmade gift it would make for someone special.
A huge thank you to Aga for the many beautiful and imaginative projects she has shared with us throughout August, and also for joining Nicola for the Craft & Chat Facebook Live earlier this month.
We’ve loved seeing all the different ways you brought Swanmere Estate to life.
