Hi creative friends,
There’s something so lovely about seeing a new kit come to life through the creativity of our Design Team… and this week the ladies have truly captured the gentle beauty and whimsical spirit of Whispers from my Garden Journal – Spring Edition.
From enchanting garden scenes to sweet handmade folios and floral keepsakes, their projects are filled with inspiration for our Craft Room members.
May kit: Whispers From My Garden Journal – Spring Edition
Inspired by the pages of a young lady’s treasured garden journal, this month’s kit celebrates cottage gardens, blooming florals, handwritten notes, and the quiet joy of creative moments spent surrounded by nature.
Soft spring colours, whimsical illustrations, and vintage garden charm make this collection perfect for journals, papercraft projects, cards, folios, and more.
Take a closer look at the kit below….
Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola has absolutely kicked off this new kit in spectacular style with not one… but two gorgeous projects this week.
Her first project is an incredible 3D diorama featuring the charming garden shed nestled amongst a blooming cottage garden.
Complete with pop-up garden beds and a sweet outdoor chair scene, Nicola has beautifully captured the essence and storytelling of the kit artwork.
Her attention to detail is always remarkable, and this project truly feels like stepping inside the pages of the journal itself.

Her second project is a set of adorable mini suitcases that she created during our Facebook Live Craft & Chat together on Saturday.
Using empty ink cartridge boxes and the beautiful floral papers from the kit, Nicola transformed simple recycled materials into the sweetest shabby little keepsakes.
Such a clever and inspiring upcycle idea! The Facebook Live has also been uploaded to Nicola’s YouTube channel and can be watched here.

And somehow… that still wasn’t enough from our lovely Nicola this week!
She also generously created an extensive bonus video tutorial exclusively for the Craft Room members, sharing all of her tips and tricks for making her signature 3D diorama shops using Mr Whimble’s Toy Shoppe as the example project.

Nicola gives so much of her time, creativity, encouragement, and expertise to our Craft Room community.
Whether she’s creating tutorials, inspiring projects, Facebook Lives, or gently cheering members on, her generosity and passion for crafting shines through in everything she does.
We are incredibly lucky to have her as such a treasured part of our community. ♥

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra’s first project with the new kit is the sweetest little garden folio… delicate, feminine, and filled with charming details.
Even better, she has also shared a bonus tutorial showing how to create the folio, making it a wonderful project for members who would like to craft along with her.
You can watch Sandra’s tutorial on her YouTube channel here.

Sandra also shared her beautiful decorative envelope that she creates each month to store all of her leftover pieces and snippets from the kit.
I always love seeing these envelopes because they are not only practical, but also such a lovely way to use every precious little scrap from the collection.

Sandra has such an elegant and timeless crafting style, and her projects are always beautifully finished with thoughtful details that inspire us all.

Agnieszka LaLoggia
Agnieszka used my envelope pop-up box project from a previous tutorial as inspiration to create her own beautiful version as a Mother’s Day card.
She enjoyed making it so much that she went on to create a second floral version using more elements from the Whispers from my Garden Journal kit.

These gorgeous dimensional cards would be perfect for Mother’s Day, birthdays, friendship cards, or simply to brighten someone’s day with a handmade touch.
Take a closer look at the cards on Aga’s Instagram account here.
Aga has such a wonderful gift for looking at projects in creative new ways.
Her imagination and ability to reinvent ideas with her own unique flair is always so inspiring to see.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
This month, Caroline kindly provided the creative prompt for our Craft Room members to help kickstart their inspiration with the new kit… and her idea was absolutely perfect.
Caroline created a set of sweet mini notebooks using the kit, showing just how versatile and useful these little handmade projects can be.

They are ideal for journals, happy mail, gift-giving, note-taking, or simply adding to your creative stash.
Members absolutely loved this idea, and it was such a wonderful reminder that even small projects can spark so much creativity.
You can watch Caroline’s short video tutorial on her YouTube channel here.
I always appreciate the thoughtful way Caroline shares ideas and encouragement with our members.
Her prompts are approachable, inspiring, and such a lovely way to help everyone feel excited to begin creating.
