With just 37 sleeps until Christmas, I know many of you are now starting to work on some homemade Christmas décor.
I’m always inspired by my creative friends and the incredibly clever ideas they come up with for putting homemade into the holidays.
Today I’m sharing some of their quick and easy projects…
Here’s a project that takes such a short time to put together, yet is very festive and helps set the scene. I totally love this sweet little winterscape from Jeanette at Snazzy Little Things
I fell in love with Jacqueline’s vintage paper wreath as soon as I saw it at Cabin and Cottage. You can make one just like this by following Jacqueline’s easy tutorial.
Shanna’s book page Christmas tree creates such a beautiful focal point and it’s super easy to make too. See the full step-by-step instructions at Restoration Redoux.
I was lucky enough several years ago to be gifted one of these gorgeous stockings made by Vikki at Sew Useful Designs. Grab your vintage doilies and head over to get Vikki’s full tutorial and pattern on her blog HERE.
Do you have any old cushions you no longer use?
I bet you never thought of painting over the old cushion cover… did you!!
Nancy will show you how to repurpose an old cushion cover, ready for Christmas at Artsy Chicks Rule.
Paula put a new spin on the Clothespin Santa Ornament and he looks so cute. He’s perfect for the Christmas tree, but would be just as sweet attached to a gift tag or tucked into a festive vignette. Find out how to make him at Sweet Pea.
Over at Confessions of a Serial DIYer, Christy shows you how you can make your own twig wreaths here and how she decorated hers for Christmas here.
Do you have some fabulous Christmas home decorating projects to share?
We’d love to see them, so please feel free to link them up at Shabbilicious Friday this week… right here at Shabby Art Boutique.
Happy Christmas crafting,

Kerryanne, thanks so much for sharing my simple Mason Jar winterscape. I am supposed to teach an hour long class on how to do this (on a live workshop on my website). I can do 60 of them in that amount of time they are so simple! I love your blog, thanks for including me in your lovely round up! xo
So many cute ideas! Thanks so much for including my wreath, Kerryanne! Hope your week is off to a great start. 🙂
So many great hand made ideas!! Thank you for sharing my Naughty/Nice pillow as well! 🙂 xo

I love that you are on full on Christmas mood, Kerryanne. Everything looks lovely.
We don’t have Thanksgiving here Victoria, so we can launch into Christmas early 🙂
Perty cool to be included here, Kerrryanne! Thanks so much. I have already made a couple of wreaths this year and need to make a few more. But they really are quick and easy! Love the Mason jars too!
Thank you so much for including my Santa ornament. I think I’m the only blogger around who hasn’t started decorating for Christmas. I’m looking forward to getting started this weekend.
Thanks Kerryanne to you and your friends for all the wonderful ideas that you’ve shared with us. We’re having Winter early here in Saskatchewan Canada so I’ll be inside putting some of these fantastic ideas started for Christmas..:)
